The fans are not amused.

But they are taking it in stride and with grace.

Fuck ‘em. They’ve been spoiled. Let them suffer.

It’s really weird how our society has collectively agreed to just forget the fact that Tyreek Hill is a fucking garbage human being.

he reeks of garbage

that was awesome.  you still have to time it up.  nice job Texas ex.

I would have lost a lot of money in a bet Schooler making an nfl roster, much less becoming a special team stud

That was a great block play.

it was, but it critically depends on knowing the snap count and timing.  you do that play and cross the line before its snapped, and you give up  5 yards which could be a first down, or make it close enough that the offense goes for it on 4th

the formation to stop a field-goal gunner is going to require the kick move back to 8 yards from scrimmage

can't wait for the NFL to make that illegal due to some safety reason.

ha.  belichick getting the Big 12 Texas spot treatment.

They will because that won't be the last time we see that this year. It is a copy cat league

the other way to stop that is having the holder snap with only 2 seconds left.

must suck having Mac Jones and not Tom Brady(or Drew Bledsoe for that matter)

Mac's days as a starting QB are numbered.

yep its like the sidewinder onside kick with no tee.

you could also motion one of the O players from the other side to the side with the gunner.  Is there a rule about how many defenders can be on one side of the ball during a kick/punt like they have on an onside kick?

the other way to stop that is having the holder snap with only 2 seconds left.

And the chess game begins with another innovation.

For those who missed it:

the pats just made life fun for special team staffs around the country who are likely being called in to 4am meetings in the morning to try to figure out the field goal gunner thing

I don’t think there is a rule that mandates 7 yards for the holder. You can fucking drop kick it. Put your hold 15 yards back. Snap it at an angle. Don’t think anyone cares. It’s just about trajectory.
This wasn't a very good day of NFL action.

There were a lot of 1 score games and a few walk offs/overtime’s. I mean…pretty good action

It takes NE ages to move the ball. Not sure they have time to score 2 TDs.
