7-year old daughter with brain cancer

always had the utmost respect for this guy, and what he did coming back from that injury is nothing short of amazing. This is just nightmare stuff. Hopefully it works out well for his family.

Oh, no.  Tough fellow.  This will be a test.

Oh geez, modern day Football Job. I hope it will work out for him and his little girl!

Oh man, that’s rough.  Guys been through a lot in his career and it’s all child’s play compared to this.  Hoping for the best for his little girl and family.

Bless this entire family, there is no pain worse than this.

Just awful. My only real fear is outliving my kids or grandkids. I can’t imagine this.

Damn.  Hopefully things stay on the up and up for her and the family.  Almost a blessing now that he's been through what he has, so he can be there as an informed advocate for his little girl and help her and the family fight through it.

Damn. Damn cancer. Fuck cancer completely.

Hold tight, Alex. Hold tight.

Wasn’t there a time in his ordeal that he could’ve lost his life?  I know the leg was close to being amputated.  If so, his wife has been/going through the wringer herself.

I think most of us have gone through these sorts of things, some at an early stage and some later in life. Nearly everyone I've lost in the last twenty years have been from cancer. I'm fucking tired of this shit. Maybe the mantra is right... Life sucks, and then you die.

when he had the infection. That he was able to walk, let alone make it back to an NFL field was nothing short of amazing. He doesn't have several muscles you would normally need to walk.

I can’t read that. Can’t even imagine.

Holy shit dude I wish you and her the best possible outcome.

Goddamn.
