Let the Cincy chili talk begin  😋

Cincinnati likes to do things differently with their chili. While Cincinnati chili is a regular beef-bean-tomato-onion, it’s how it’s served that makes it different. There’s no bowl here; instead, Cincinnati chili is served over the top of spaghetti. And, you have to know the right way to order your Cincinnati chili. Order 2-way to get a bed of spaghetti topped with beefy chili; an order of 3-way adds cheddar cheese to the spaghetti topped chili. An order of 4-way adds onions or beans to the concoction, and 5-way adds both beans and onions. I’d go for the 6-way, which includes it all, including fried jalapeno caps. Where to go for chili in Cincinnati? Try the classic chili spot, Blue Ash Chili, which has been open since the late 1960s and has three locations in town. Feeling brave? Try their No Freakin’ Way Challenge, where you’ll be presented with a full 8-pound plate of Cincinnati chili, complete with 2 pounds of cheddar cheese and 1 pound of jalapeno caps. If you can clean your plate within an hour, it’s free. If you fail, you’ll owe $39.99!

That writer is an idiot. Cincinnati chili is not chili. It’s not Cincinnati’s take on chili. It’s not ‘how they make chili in Cincinnati.’ It’s its own thing. If you go into any normal restaurant in Cincinnati, not one like Skyline or Gold Star that serves Cincinnati chili exclusively, and order chili, you’ll get traditional chili. If the restaurant also has Cincinnati chili on the menu, you’ll need to specify Cincinnati chili or you’ll get chili. What you think of as chili is not a foreign concept to anyone in Cincinnati (or Ohio or the Midwest). You’ll never serve a bowl of chili to someone from Cincinnati and hear them gasp, “Where are the noodles?!”

JFC, it’s not hard. But ignorance about it is like a point of pride in some places.

The Miami RedHawks upset the Bearcats 31-24 in overtime last week, breaking a 16-game losing streak in the rivalry and reclaiming the Victory Bell. Maybe they were looking ahead or maybe this Cincinnati team isn’t all that good.

I’m really torn on this one.  On the one hand, I just can’t see myself ever rooting for OU.  On the other hand, OU sucks.

OU better be ready. Cincy will be out for blood after losing to Miami OH last week. Get ready to see Cincy pull out every trick play. They've got nothing to lose and want to make a good first impression on the conference.

Bob Stoops on the set of BNK in Cincy. Doesn’t seem terribly respectful to the UC fans to have him come on to say why OU (and his son who’s on the team) will win today.

Wow. What do you have to do to get a full game suspension for this one?

Cincinnati does have a cool looking stadium. Sooners looking sloppy.

Bearcats need to keep running the ball. It's working.

Hard game to pick a favorite. I hate OU and I hate the Big12. However, Cincinnati is a newcomer, so it’s hard to hate them that much.

OU is gonna blitz the fuck out of Ewers I think.

And that will create a lot of one on one matchups that Sark can exploit.

Looks like OU is sorta shocked that they are playing someone with a pulse. They seem a bit hesitant on both O and D.

Baxter and brooks better get 25-30 Carrie’s against these limp dicks.

I didn’t know Carrie was such a popular name in Oklahoma.

Shit spaghetti with weird tasting meat sauce, decent city in some areas.

Go Bearcats!

Sounds like you should be rooting for UC. Doesn’t seem that hard.

OUsucks struggling to get it going vs a city school! Tough environment for the dirt burglars.

Hook’em!!!

If there’s a knock against Gabriel it’s that he sucks multiple donkey cocks at once.

You're overthinking it.

Fuck ou.

All the time.

No doubt sark will have it dialed up question is will Ewers handle the pressure and quick reads

It usually isn’t, BUT I’m also going to RRS this year and I’d love to see both teams undefeated headed into the game.

The donkeys don't seem to mind

AHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAJAHAHAAAAAAAJAJAJAJAJAJAAJAJAJAJAJAHWHXXHEBS82B2BDIDJISKE

Hahahahhahaah

fuck you Sooners, fuck you

What in that in the actual fuck is spaghetti chili ? Get out of here with that shit Yankees. No wonder there is hatred in their blood and couch burning is a thing. Their food is a dumpster fire.

I'll never root for bloU to win at anything, but if they do happen to luck into a win I hope it's a long field goal that bounces off the uprights in the final seconds of the game.
