Funny thing is they aren’t power whatever next year either.

The “power” conferences are big10 and SEC, then there’s the mid conferences big12 and ACC.

Okay. They'll get the same dedicated playoff spot for their champion as the SEC and Big 10 do.

They shouldn’t be protected if they slide with anyone within 3 yards. Last second slides INCREASE the chance for hitting to the head and make it impossible for the defender to make a clean tackle.

they have a split second to make a tackle and suddenly the target goes from waist to head and ya can’t hit the head

bull fucking shit of course blow U QB is going to try and scam that call

The Belichick coaching move would be to tell your defenders in the first half of a game to fully commit to delivering the hardest shot you can to the sliding QB who has made himself vulnerable pulling that shit in a crowd.  You trade a defender for knocking out the starting QB every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Maybe second half as well depending on the opponent.

How about DKR?  I guess there's always exceptions.  I mean, I'm awesome and definitely don't suck, right?

Really it's the current players. I don't hate all of the former okie pros. Never really have.

Idk how Stoops’ kid is more hate-able than he is but here we are.

You could've cut it to 8 with a FG but no, definitely put it in the hands of your shitty QB when you ran on OU pretty well.

Cincy's QB makes poop poor decisions.

I'm getting flashbacks to the Mackovic era.

OU kinda sucks but we wont 49-0 them like last year. If we come to play, we win by 20+

I'm concerned about our offense vs. their defense. I'm also concerned about our pass defense, which really hasn't been tested yet. Yes, our talent level bla bla bla, but our offense has under-performed for 3 games straight. That's not an anomaly any more; it's getting habitual.

The ADs for Texas and OU should together put out a video after every week showing all the shit calls the refs did against us.  Just call it something like the Lowlights of the Week.  If the universities are worried about blowback then have boards like this put it out.

Ok that’s fair, just didn’t know what the sliding had to do with it.

LOL at no flag there.

That was ridiculous.

I'm never going to feel bad about ou getting screwed by the refs, but that's as obvious of a DPI as you'll ever see. Yormark approves of that one.

I could see maybe you think he's just throwing it away but you can't just push a WR to the ground while the ball is in the air...unless you're TExas and OU.

So what happens this year in Dallas?  Do the refs flag everything or nothing?

The Cincinnati offensive coaches are going to be pretty sick when they watch the tape of this and realize how much they left on the table by not running the ball today.

This game, TCU, and Tech will test our secondary the most.

If our O shows up for the OU game, it isn't close. If they don't, then it's an interesting one.

OU's defense can be had. They just haven't played anyone who can take advantage of it.

Let's just hope Kevin Mar's crew isn't in Dallas that day.

Injuries that require stoppage should require the player to stay out until change of possession

*or use a timeout

That's the one game all season where I'm NOT worried about the officiating.

It was explained earlier. Doesn't really matter who the QB plays for. The last moment QB drop to slide hoping to draw a penalty is complete and utter BS. Rule should be revised placing responsibility on QB's to drop well in advance of anticipated contact or render void any potential penalty, including targeting since last moment slides actually create targeting situations that wouldn't otherwise occur.

They let OU OL hold their wagon asses off all game as they usually do

So f'ing stupid. You keep putting it in the hands of guy that's repeatedly showing you that he can't get it done. Bearcats deserve this loss.

Bearcats would be in this if they just kicked some field goals and stopped shooting themselves in the dick.

Cincy offense is not good...

Back to more Cincinnati chili talk...  😋
