^ That dude's call of the Fiesta Bowl walk-off TD is fucking all-time imo.

What is his nickname for Ewers at the 1:07 mark?

La joya.  The jewel.  I'm assuming it's not hoya meaning pit.

1:11 mark.

Tres y fuera = Three and out.

Awesome.

I can't make out what they call worthy near the end after his touchdown.  La balla?  La valla?

I’m going with “bala”… bullet.

Explains why I always see one or more longhorn T-shirt on a local in Cancun or Puerto Vallarta. I figured you motherfuckers were taking boxes of them with you on vacay.

This is amazing.  Nothing other than I'll be watching in Español from now on.

I love how he has no idea who Broughton is, can only say cuarenta y cinco.

But what got me laughing was the 4th down stop, nunca y nunca.

I think Jonathan Brooks is his favorite player.

Ruben is the fuxkin goat. Back in 05-08 I used to work for UT women’s soccer and he would invite me to his espn en español show to talk about the soccer team. Such a top dude.

I’m fluent in Spanish, so I can tell you that El Paso means The Paso.

I would wear this printed in white on a burnt orange T-shirt.

Did he say Gino Torretta?

"Like Juan in his home."  It basically means acting like you own the place.

This would’ve helped to spice things up during the late Mack/CS years of misery.

¡Arriba esos cuernos!

That’s funnier if you know that “cuerno” is mexican slang for AK-47

What station is it broadcast on? English announcers could learn a lot from Ruben.

The internet tells me that the flagship station for the Spanish Longhorn Radio Network broadcasts is KZNX in Austin, 1530 AM.  Also might be on 104.9-2 on the HD FM dial if I am reading it right.

Awesomeness. JW seal of approval.

Translation

The end of the Baylor one cracks me up.  He says Justice Finkley with no Spanish accent.

I don't speak Spanish, but I do like the sound of "Touchdown de Longhorns".

I remember Ruben calling Colt, Los Pistolos... I think

Pistolas.

I had saved a bunch of those audio clips intending to upload them to Youtube dubbed over game clips but they were sadly lost in the great hd crash of ~ 2015 before I figured out how to do that. His call of the game winner @ OSU (LIMAS SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!) was also epic I thought.
