September 30, 20232 yr Popular Post Number of points we've allowed each game this season. 24 and 14 were to ranked (at the time) teams.
September 30, 20232 yr When PK was hired, I remember him saying the expectation was to give up no more than 1 TD per half. Seems to be doing that this season
September 30, 20232 yr Popular Post We've gone from praying for a bend-but-don't-break defense to just straight up break their face defense. It's nice to finally have that back on the 40.

Y'all were talking bad about PK the first couple of years, while I was looking at our front 7 those years knowing that it was the jimmies and joes, not the xs and os. Plus the staff he had was a hodgepodge assembly that had never worked together. Now y'all see why he was hired. We have the bodies, player development, and scheme all working together. September 30, 20232 yr Well, our average points per game allowed did go up today. So we are slipping a bit.

September 30, 20232 yr I posted in the PK thread, but can someone make a gif of when PK was fired up after the 4th down stop?
September 30, 20232 yr Wait; aren’t we supposed to fire PK? I can’t keep up anymore but I’ll take the win.

Think of where the defense would be at the end of the season if we continue to give up an additional .3 points per week?

October 1, 20232 yr 05 was fucking filthy. This team is quite good so far. Let us continue this trend.

October 1, 20232 yr The defense has been awesome, but let’s not go sucking each others dicks just yet. Our last three games have been against backup QBs. Let’s shut down Gabriel and then we can talk all of the shit we want.

If you ever see him on Masked Singer, he often makes ridiculous guesses just to make the audience laugh and get Nick Cannon to say, "sit yo' ass down, Ken!" I wasn't really offended by it. I just found it amusing.

October 1, 20232 yr Just read on a "Heartland" football site that Texas at s still untested, playing all backup QBs and the Big XIi could still be between KU and TCU. While that comment reeks of hate, it's interesting how opposing QBs keep dropping out it before playing us this year. It's got to be some kind of a record.

The defense just made him look so bad that bama went to the backup the next game.Daniels also not a backup qb (0-3 against Texas now).So yeah, that comment’s all hate.

October 1, 20232 yr So is Fatterson still responsible for all the good defensive play?Seriously, is he still around? I guess it goes to show how good a job PK is doing right now.

Speaking of backups, there's a legit possibility that we would be 3-0 (with another Championship) instead of 1-2 vs Alabama our last three meetings if we'd not had to play most of the games with our hackups. They've been kryptonite with or against us.... There's no telling how a 2009 National Championship would have changed the last 15ish years for both schools. For us, it would have taken twice as many years to get rid of Mack and this would be the year we finally moved on from Strong, and heading into the SEC next year while ushering in the Herman wonder years.

I don't think that game goes any better for them with a different guy. Baylor was getting shoved into the woodchipper head first either way. Maybe they find a TD with their starter. KU is probably a bit more competitive with Daniels but their backup played pretty well, too.
October 1, 20232 yr Yesterday's KU QB was the starter until Daniels showed up. He's been around the block a time or two.

That’s why I said “not that it matters.” Unless Daniels was going to be tackling Brooks, his presence wouldn’t have changed the outcome.
