December 14, 20232 yr Couple of observations from last night: Jeremy’s hair. What the fuck was that? Seriously, just no. Actually tried to get the ball to Wemby. Devin has completely lost his legs on this three point shot. Keldon needs to get to the rim or post up every night. Dude was taking it to Anthony Davis repeatedly. That’s his game. I hate Dougie McBuckets (as a player). He’s awful as a defender, and awful on offense. Just the worst. I’d rather Mamu get his playing time. Holy shit, Zach made some threes. Wemby is just on another planet, man. Hopefully he gets another win this season.

Just ask Carmelo Anthony. The edge that Chet has in any of his #s is largely because he's playing on a better team. https://www.rotowire.com/betting/nba/rookie-odds.php MGM still has Chet favored but they appear to be the outlier. 2/4 have Wemby favored and one of those books has them 1:1. What's wild is Jaquez is firmly 3rd across the board. Edited December 14, 20232 yr by ztejas
December 14, 20232 yr ROY is the only award I can think of that is not predicated on team success. Chet is extremely deserving if he wins, but they’re not going to hold the fact that Wemby doesn’t have SGA on his team against him.
December 14, 20232 yr Well, if we were looking for evidence that Pop has lost his mind, we clearly have it now. /irrational longhorns fan

December 15, 20232 yr Wow. They found the only black dude who can’t hoop at all. For those who didn’t witness it. The first layup was a classic.

December 15, 20232 yr Author Getting 7.5 tonight against LA. I honestly think this is a trap game for the Lakers. If Austin Reaves eats some bad shrimp pregame and Anthony Davis tweaks his knee during warm-ups LA may have to dig a bit in the 2nd half to win it by double-digits. Especially if the Spurs put together a perfect storm of shooting over 35% from 3, above 70% from the stripe and committing less than 17 turnovers. LeBron is going to need to be dialed. In. That's the spirit! They got really good games from Keldon and Wemby the other night, and still had to rally from down 20 in the fourth against a Lebron-less Lakers on weak legs. If they cover tonight, I imagine it will be of the backdoor variety. I think they get it handed to them again, but at some point the streak has to end. Hopefully it's against the fucking Lakers tonight. GSG.
December 15, 20232 yr Can one of our scubs become Steph Curry for one night and annoy the shit out of the other team? Pretty please?

December 16, 20232 yr Author Branham has looked a lot better lately. Like he could be a pretty good player in a couple years.
December 16, 20232 yr Any chance the Lakers just concede the next three quarters? Ain't no lead safe with this team..
December 16, 20232 yr Please don't blow it in painful fashion, please don't blow it in painful fashion....

December 16, 20232 yr I’m convinced James used to play soccer. Or he has the worst pain tolerance of any NBA player, especially at his size.
December 16, 20232 yr Author When I go to hell they're going to make me watch Keldon Johnson repeatedly throw possessions away by driving into brick walls in the paint.
December 16, 20232 yr It honestly feels like the team is freezing Vic out. He has to be the easiest post to feed of all time and they refuse to do it. That or his positioning is just shit and/or I’m missing something.

December 16, 20232 yr Author Are they trying to make Malika Andrews look as unattractive as possible? Jesus.
December 16, 20232 yr Author It's a shame that this basketball game is getting in the way of LeBron's nationally-televised interpretive flopping display tonight. I hear he's up for several awards already this season.
December 16, 20232 yr Author We somehow stumbled into extending the lead with Branham, Doug, Cedi and Zach on the floor at the same time. We may actually win tonight.
December 16, 20232 yr Author Imagine if instead of Cedi Osman we had someone that could play defense and hit open 3s consistently. I guess what I'm saying is imagine if Doug could play defense. I will say Cedi attacks the basket well and has some nice moves in the paint. I just cringe every time he takes a 3. Edited December 16, 20232 yr by ztejas
December 16, 20232 yr So many times Wemby is running down the lane and the other guys don't throw it to him. I just don't get it.
