Game 1 at 5:07 on TBS, Suarez vs Strider.

Can the Phillies do it again?

Phils get on the board first in the top of the 4th

Suarez out in the bottom of the 4th but the Braves strand 3

Phillies still dancing through the raindrops.  Seranthony of House Dominguez strands runners on 1st and 3rd.  Still 1-0 after 5.

I like Bryce, but this is a little excessive.

Bryce Harper is 30 years old. He has now spent half his life squarely in the limelight. He is a beloved teammate, a tremendous leader, an elite player and as clutch as anyone in the game. He is not just everything he was supposed to be. He is more.

That was quick

Collars will be getting tight in ATL

Jeez, Rob Thomson is a wizard. I did not like pulling Suarez after a couple weak singles, expecting 5.1 innings from your bullpen. But there is an off day tomorrow so there wasn't a ton of downside to overmanaging there. Amazing to win the Strider game too

Snit blaming the layoff for fried not being sharp.

One or both WS teams are going to have to deal with the same.

if the AL champ sweeps, they are going to have over a week off before the WS starts.

Even if it goes all 7, they will have 3 days off.

Fubo doesn't carry TBS, so I'm having to watch the Spanish broadcast on MLB Network.  I don't speak much Spanish, but this is still wwaaaaaaaaaaay better than listening to Smoltz.

No shit Harper didn't tag, he wanted to be able to score.

Just your basic 8-5-3 DP to end it!

Riley scooped the ball backhanded and threw it to first in one motion, like fielding a slow roller at third base. That ended the game, completing the first 8-5-3 double play in MLB postseason history and the first double play ever involving an outfielder to end a postseason game.
