Yeah, I'm just as surprised as you.

Still digging up other books to compare.

I'm surprised the line is that high but Vegas isn't a believer in BYU which isn't surprising if you've looked at their schedule and results.

They've played 2 teams .500 or better and have lost both games by an average of 22 points.

Lol. Easy money

I would not touch this line.

I have zero faith in Texas covering but the line is that high because BYU is not good. I would have zero confidence in betting either way on this one.

In a week to week sport like football, Vegas makes so much money off emotional people who bet solely based on the result of the previous game.

Do they really think our defense will hold BYU to -5 points? If Ewers is out, we're not scoring more than 15 points.

I will bet you any amount of money that Texas scores more than 15 points at home against this BYU defense.

BYU has given up 31 to Arkansas, 38 to Kansas, 27 to Cincinnati, and 44 points to TCU. Only 1 of those teams even has a good offense. Some of you are way too reactionary.

BYU is not good and less well equipped to exploit Texas’s defensive weak points than Houston. Hard to imagine them getting past 21 points and Texas should be able to top that at home regardless of who’s playing QB.

On the other hand, not sure this team should be favored by 20 over anyone right now given the trend line and injuries. Texas will be very easy to defend without Ewers.

Probably a rock fight.

Without ewers we will need a defensive touchdown to win

Fuck it, just win!  I wouldn’t bet on this one at all.

Weren’t we like 23 point favorites against Houston? Like factor in Quinn’s health and no wouldn’t touch this line.

We can cover this line with Murphy. Some of you haven’t seen byu play and it shows.

What's the status of the BYU qb? Is he playing with knee brace? If so, then BYU straight up.

He has -49 yards rushing on the year with a long run of 8 yards.

I mean PK really has no excuses this week. BYU's offense is probably the 2nd worst we've faced (Baylor being the worst).

I will take any W against BYU and count my blessings.

Seems primed to fuck us up.

You guys have it made in the shade. Backup QBs are our kryptonite.

Byu has beaten Tech, Arky, and Cincy. We will win but we aint covering.

the past two weeks, the offense has averaged 27 ppg. gonna be tough, especially if we dont have quinn

Real murderers row there.

Only @GreenspointTexas could possibly think BYU beating Tech, Arkansas and Cincy means something valuable.

Struggling to beat all 3 of those shit teams is a better indicator of how bad BYU is. Apparently.....Greenspoint thinks beating 2-5 Cincinnati, 2-6 Arkansas, and 3-5 Texas Tech with a 3rd string QB means something of importance.

Small play on byu and the under as a parlay, no?  Small risk but if one happens then both probably do and you boost  the payout.

Brett says 16. I don't know where he gets his lines from.

Circa just came out. They also have the line at 16. That seems more reasonable. Maybe Fan Duel doesn't know Ewers is injured?

I don’t understand this point spread.  Did BYU run out of knee braces?

BYU is really bad, so I don't think it will matter how much of an egg we lay. This should be an easy cover.

Taysom Hill is still in the NFL, playing three different positions. Texas launched him into stardom.

Taysom Hill is a 4.4 guy, Kedon Slovis is like a 4.9 guy who doesn't really look to run much.
