I was going to predict UT by like 40 points until I found out Sark is close buddies with the BYU coach.

So, we'll still win big but I don't think we'll run up the score on them.

Look for lots of 2nd & 3rd string kids out there in the second half.

Have to keep winning to keep this recruiting momentum going

hopefully Sark comes out giving Murph some easy passes to get him comfortable leaning on the run game.

I do think BYU will load up and take Murphy beat them.

I believe our defense will be better though,

Texas - 33

BYU only beat a terrible SHSU team at home 14-0. BYU has a recent close call with a dreadful Tech team at home and got rolled by a disappointing TCU squad. Everything lines up for MM to have a great coming out party. Unfortunately, MM isn't ready and Sark finally Sarks like we've been afraid of all season.

The world is truly upside down if I have to say this - @Wulaw Horn you are being are irrationally negative about this game. BYU isn’t very good at much of anything.

When they have the ball they will not be able to run and the Texas defense will not be hyper focused on QB contain like they were against Houston. There will be a lot of third and 6+. Slovis is not a particularly accurate passer and Texas will probably bring some pressure on obvious passing downs. They’ll hit a couple chunk pass plus because everyone does against this shit secondary (lol I remember being ridiculed for pointing that out early in the year) but they aren’t going to amount to much unless Texas just gives them the ball in scoring position several times.

They are a bad defense against both the run and the pass. They can choose which place to put themseves at a disadvantage but they cannot both stop Texas from running the ball and cover the WRs. I imagine they will elect to fortify the run defense and try to make the backup throw a bit. Murphy will probably have a few head scratchers, a few wow throws, and reside mostly in between. But Texas will have too many advantages on offense not to score plenty.

Texas: 30

BYU: 13

Texas Passing attempts/yardage: 25/202

There are a couple entries that got a little closer on the score line (though I was surprised to see that I was on the more optimistic end) but I am going to pat myself on the back for hitting on the pass attempts and generally getting the game script right.

Nailed the prop bet on attempts and closer on yards than anyone, I think.

Last 3 were winners at 8 points away. I think, other than OU, this was the worst any of our winners were relative to score.
moTown nailed the attempts. Jettrick came close to the yards.

My math is not good. What counts more attempts or yards?
