79 guys made the cut... and they’re all tied for the lead

  • Man I don't care what anybody says. That dude in that Sunday red with that look walking up to the first tee is still an awesome sight.

I’m sure this is a dumb question but I’m looking for the honest answer - why does most of the grass on that course look completely dead?

It always gets crusty this time of the year. Purists like that they don’t try to keep it plush

Someone is going to set a record low score today

See my post above.  It's certainly possible.  I think the last 4 holes protect that from happening.  Hell, I could be wrong though.  Someone may get to -9 through 14 and play the last 4 in even par to break the record.

NBC with tons of commercials. Hopefully they're getting them out of the way early and we get long stretches of golf later on.

Anyone else have Spectrum/Time Warner and NBC feed freezing up sporadically?

Yes. Rebooted the box twice but no improvement.

And Tigger ties for the lead.  Gotta admit I didn't see that happening today.  Lot's of golf to be played behind him though.  Don't think he leads at the end of the day.

Classic Carnoustie, Tiger hits a nice shot into the green that was a few inches off and he ends up with a bogey.

Good thing no important golf is being played since we're getting a lot of talking heads right now.
