"You look at Texas Tech over there and it's all about their masturbating bell ringer and the thousands of hot sluts they have walking around campus. And the football team we are going to destroy on Friday."

well i guess today's presser started at 11:00am prompt.  no idea why its a different time every week.

I am almost positive it's because Sark enjoys fucking with the reporters who cover it.

  • Author

it's happening right now.  not much of note up to this point.  sark expects everyone who played against ISU to be able to play this week.

pretty cool answer from sark regarding establishing culture within the program.

...and that answer was?

He expects everyone who played at Iowa State to be available on Friday, including Worthy and Sanders.

So it appears we got really lucky that Sweat didn't get seriously injured on the XP block.   Nice job considering player safety big 12 refs.  Now chop blocks are OK?

POS program representing a POS conference. Fuck ISU, Fuck Campbell.

He was preemptively bowing down to his king.

Might have been my favorite play of the game.  Sweat decided "this is mine" and he made it so.  And kudos to Jordan for being in the right place at the right time.

That is good stuff.

I like the way Sark talks to the media.

I think today's PC was probably the best he ever he has done. His answer to the question about the portal was really good. His response to the one about culture was also very good. It's so easy to see why Sark is a great recruiter.  He doesn't whine. He doesn't play the victim card. I know he's had some issues on game day and he's getting better at that. But off the field with the media and with recruits, he's elite.

Damn, I was half expecting applause after he finished.

Even Mack Brown has got to be impressed with the level to which Jimbo has taken "Fuck You, Pay Me."

First observation to me is, One guy is trying to eat his ass and another appears to be feeling for his junk.

I really like Sark.  I think he is a legitimately good guy, he is very smart and I do believe he can take us where we need to go.  Any time I watch video of him talking, I really appreciate that we have him as a coach.

That was a great, well laid out response to the question re: culture.

Sark has his faults as a coach, but he's such a likable, genuine guy.  To get fired for public intoxication to where he is now is so very impressive.

Sark back then was in the middle of a divorce from his first wife. Things are different in his life now. His children are grown and he is married to Loreal.

When you’re in a great place in your personal life, it enhances the success of your professional life.

We’re lucky to have a guy as genuine as Sark in a NIL world full of used car salesman like Jimbo was.

fucking sound is horrible

Huge Sark fan here.  As someone who hated Herman before we hired him.

Before you're old and wise, you have to be young and stupid (old and stupid is still a possibility)

We're getting Sark in the 3rd act. The young hero already got identified as the future savior, got smacked down trying to claim his birthright, went on a self-destructive path to find himself, and got rebuilt humbling himself at the feet of a short, soft-spoken guru.

He's at the point where it's time to win the kumite.

Same.  When we hired Herman, I was just like what the fuck?  That guy?  Really?

the team is practicing at night this week.  During the season they practice in the morning.  The press conference was always right after practice, and Sark, understandably, sometimes would be delayed coming off of practice.  No such issue today.

Red shorts chick has an Eliza Dushku vibe. I'm in, raider rash be damned.
