on the fourth down play, Seahawks RB Deejay Dallas missed the block.

  • Those refs were just getting the place warmed up and ready for Saturday morning's flag fest 😒

  • Hopefully that is the last close game we watch in that stadium this week.

Cmon Micah

Good call.

That really seemed like a game the Cowboys were destined to lose.

After playing like shit for three-and-a-half quarters, the D seals it with three-consecutive fourth-down stops at midfield. Who woulda thunk it?

McCarthy could give the ball back in 12 game seconds.

Zero punts. Wonder the last time that happened.

They had it up. I think 2021.

Ugggggllllllyyyyyyyy win.  Like Futureman ugly, but it's better than a pretty loss.

I like this offense.  I don't like this defense, particularly the back 7.

Ferguson is starting to look like a legit stud. I wish Dallas could get a Metcalf type bigass fast receiver to pair with Lamb.

Looked like Pollard out there

That stadium is terrible for football.  Sound just dissappears in it.  It's great for the country club crew but as far as gameday atmosphere, it lacks.

The D stepped up big time. They put some pretty good pressure on the QB most of that half. Good sign. Ten days rest acomin'

How you gonna let 11 get a free run (TOTALLY unblocked) at your QB in that situation?

Which makes using a 2nd round pick on another TE even more baffling. Could have found a guy with Schoonmaker talent way down the rounds. Could have gotten a guy there who could be contributing and starting right now. Don't remember who was still available. 1st 2 picks have been duds

D was awful for my fantasy team but got it done when it mattered. Fuck Philly, someone better find a fucking way around mccarthys dumbassesness.

Man, Parsons was nowhere all night but what a time to show up!

he was near Smith a lot but Smith always found an out ball (coverage wasn’t there most of the night).

RB was supposed to step in and help. He went the wrong way. All they needed him to do was chip and slow him down.

Sorry it's cause this is the first week I'm not playing against them across all 10 of my leagues.

Could have iced it after Bland's interception, but pissed away that possession.

They had a ton of pressures, but Smith got rid of the ball fast the whole night.

Their line blocked inside out with kearse up at the line inside of parsons. But didn’t change to blocking to the right, or didn’t move the rb over to the side of the unblocked end, who happens to be the fastest guy out there.

Ferguson has some nasty mofo in him that I didn't think existed. Great development by that TE room, hopefully Schoonmaker can do something similar in another year or two.

Not sure that ices it if we score. We were down 1. Even scoring and going for 2, we would only be up 7. With now Seattle was scoring all night, that's nothing.

Kearse walking up and occupying a gap changed their protection scheme and they messed it up. The back in pass pro situations is told to block inside out and the back saw Kearse occupy the guard and before he could react outside Parsons was by him. Can't really put that on him I don't think, seems protection should have slid out, but tough to know without knowing the line call.

I didn’t think the back could have made it from the other side even if it was his responsibility.

hell, the motion man was already running and couldn’t get to 11 before he got beyond him.

Good point, the defense was on their heels until late in the 4th.

Personally, I would prefer ekki-ekki-ekki-ekki-PTANG. Zoom-Boing, z'nourrwringmm

Dallas scored on 8 of 9 real posessions.

Seattle on 5 of 10 (but also 5 of first 7)

but the game was all fucked up by the number of defensive penalties called on both sides, making defensive stops impossible for 3 quarters.

Sound on Amazon has been fucked up all year long,

Are herbstreit and Al Michaels actually at the stadium or are they in a studio somewhere

No, the back was the intended receiver but he got out late and then lost in the trash with Dlaw occupying him.  The design was for Micah to rush free and hit the back in the flat.  They fucked around and found out with Parsons speed.

biggest paper tiger ever, this D, but it stepped up at the end.  I think the coordinator is great, but they lose focus as the year goes on, or something.  Maybe they're just tired.

You’re confusing tired head but plain dumbassery. Some of these players have the brains of a turnip.

meh

Still can’t believe Dallas pulled that off last night.

Riddle me this: even if the 9er’s get the Eagles this week and Dallas gets them next week, the Cowboys need the Eagles to drop one more game because their other losses is the Jets, while Dallas has dropped 3 NFC games this far, right?

Looks like Geno Smith confirmed their call was to squeeze inside and leave the edge free and sneak the back past him. In that case the back fucked up because his first steps looked like he was looking to block inside when he should have immediately shot out at the snap to the flat. Can't wait around against that speed if the edge is intentionally left free. Should have just run a screen.
