Looks awesome, love see Hemsworth play something other than heroic.

More SJW Hollywood garbage. MAD MAX IS A MAN.

Furiosa is Mad max, Mad max is Furiosa

Furiosa is a MAN.

in, even though anya taylor-joy almost never fully closes her mouth and it's going to drive me nuts noticing that all the time.

This looks amazing if it’s as good as fury road.

It could be 50% as good as Fury Road and still be a top 10 action film of all time.

I can't wait for the next trailer. There's gonna be some shit in it for sure.

Is it all CGI?

I noticed that and worried me a bit. Fury Road was so great because CGI was limited and the movie felt tactile. I hope they do the same here and the CGI shots are in the trailer.

George Miller? Of course I'm in.

That title reveal at the end is something with the score kicking in. I've watched that trailer a dozen times and it gets me every time.

George Miller paints a masterpiece canvas with his framing, color palette, and cinematography.  The level of effort put in each shot is mind bottling.

I have forgotten about this like 3 different times, but damn this looks good. I need to go back and rewatch Fury Road again

All of this. Fury Road is exceptional due to all the practical stunts and absolutely incredible editing (seriously watch how every single cut includes something from the previous scene during the action sequences). There’s no doubt I’ll be all over this in the theater, but I hope it has the same look of FR and isn’t all CGI.

Furiosa is a MAN.

I know all there is to know about the crying game
I've had my share of the crying game
First there are kisses
Then there are sighs
And then, before you know where you are
You're sayin' goodbye

I dug Fury Road and love Ms. Theron so when I adopted this girl from the dog shelter last year there was no other choice. Introducing Emperator Furiosa...

To the contrary she's a cross between a lab and a pit so she's mobile and hostile

Spoiler

Actually she's just mobile and loves errybody

Hard to say if she misses it. She’s a dog.

at least it's an ethos.

It's a shame that all these Australian actors keep getting cosmetic surgery.  Thor really fucked up his nose.

I love Mad Max and thought the movie was amazing, but this is pretty "meh" so far. Will see it anyways.

I'll see it. But I'm not confident it will be nearly as good as the last Mad Max.

Tickets booked for Saturday afternoon at the faux Santikos faux imax here in SA. Can’t wait.

It looks really good, but probably not his best work. In all fairness though, it's really difficult to top Babe: Pig in the City.

Going tomorrow. Just rewatched Fury Road last night, it is so epic and rewatchable. I hope they have the same editing team for this one.

It's fucking George Miller, but to me it look like the case of diminishing returns.. a bit of a been there, done that thing.

Maybe a bit similar to the exhaustion i got with Peter Jackson.

Just left the theater.

It was awesome. Is it as good or groundbreaking like Fury Road? Absolutely not. Is it better than 99% of action films? Yep.

Miller wisely doesn’t try to remake Fury Road. This is its own thing and is paced more traditionally and is broken into chapters. It’s probably more violent and definitely more gruesome than Fury Road. How she loses her arm is pretty horrific.

Anya Taylor Joy doesn’t show up until an hour into the movie and doesn’t say a word for another 45 minutes. She has maybe 200 words of dialog and 150 of them are in the final scene. She’s great and so is the young Furiosa. This is Hemsworth’s best role so far.

Interesting to hear about hemsworth, not that the bar was high.
