December 14, 20232 yr I'm going to be going to Tunisia (among other places) over the holidays and plan on spending a little time at the North African American Cemetery in Tunis. If any of y'all have relatives interred there, I'd be happy to do a grave stone rubbing for fellow Surls if time allows. You can check it out here: https://www.abmc.gov/North-Africa

January 6, 20241 yr Author Popular Post I’m glad we made the stop. I was a little surprised we weren’t the only ones there. There was a small tour group, presumably Americans. We were the only ones to sign the guestbook since 5 Dec 23.
January 6, 20241 yr Thanks for sharing. Interesting thing on the marker you took a picture of for Clarence Fuller. His date of death is January 1944. I assume he was an airman flying out of Tunisia. Kind of late to be a death attributed to North African fighting.
