July 26, 20241 yr Thatās why I love TXHSFB. After officiating the game for a decade plus, based out of SA, Iāve done (officiated) games where schools should really play 6-man, to the those 6-A teams on Thursday night local TV.The best environments, in my opinion, are those 4-5A one school towns. The environment and atmosphere canāt be replicated, until the bigger schools get into multiple rounds of the playoffs.Iāve officiated regular season 6-A games in SA that each child participating, whether FB player, Band, cheer team/spirit squad, didnāt have enough butts in the bleachers to account for 50% of the kids on each side. Pretty sad in my opinion, as when my child was in the Boerne Band, not only to travel to road games, but I was āexpectedā to help unload the band trailer, sometimes around 1:00 AM.Parents please support your kids!Hookāem!!!
August 2, 20241 yr Full-blown arms race between Duncanville & Desoto. The Panthers add a 2027 receiver who has 31 FBS offers already. Was all-district as a freshman at Arlington Lamar last year. Ā

August 7, 20241 yr I probably missed it, but for those of you who are avid watchers of HS football, what do y'all think of Grayson Rigdon moving up?
