Scottie -7

Spieth -6

Hope Scottie can get back to -9 or better...

Spieth birdies #17 & #18 for 2nd day in-a-row

Shoots 67 (-4) to get to -8

Hook'em  🤘

Lowry shoots a 62 with pars on both of the par 5s on the back nine.

if the course is as gettable tomorrow as it is today, somebody could go super low and post a score with the leaders still out there.  5 back of whatever the lead is should still be in play.

Doubt the course will allow better than a 65 tomorrow... no more rain, and high of 85 degrees for Sunday's final Rd.

Expect the course will likely be set up to be more difficult, and they will also try to speed up the greens tomorrow.

Agree with above...looking for the best score among the top ten to be 67.

If it’s true that Schefflers caddie took the day off for his son’s graduation he needs to be fired. Work comes first, buddy.

shows you know nothing about Scottie, he insisted that Ted go to his kids graduation. Family comes first, Scottie can still win this

If you have employees, which is doubtful, I feel for them.

No he can’t.  4 or 5 back, sure, it could happen.  His caddie wasn’t his problem today.

A lot of major winners up near the top. I’ll be rooting for Sahith.

Sahith is easy to root for. That monster flip chip in on 15 was awesome.

Man. Well, I have thought that was him for years. Bad care of mistaken identity.

Big Sahith fan. Seems like a really good dude based on Full Swing. Another creative player that shapes everything. Fun shot after fun shot. Rooting for him tomorrow.

Yeah he shows some emotion. Xander and Colin are freaking robots. It’s why Spieth is still captivating despite his total form slump for three years

Wow, watching early Sunday action and low scores are available.  Shooting a 65 today would be a great score, but someone getting on a heater and shooting a lower score is definitely available.

They need to take Valhalla out of the mix for hosting majors. Just not challenging or interesting enough.

Plus this bullshit...

Valhalla has turned a major into something like the 3M Open. Where literally any player could possibly finish double digits under par. I hate it.

Yeah I agree with you and TonyTexas... Valhalla sucks as a site for a PGA Championship or US Open.

Agreed. I’ll go so far as to add ANY PGA event.

It’s a pretty course, but the challenge to professionals just isn’t there. That’s why they have to have a 260yd par 3, or 600+ par 5’s, etc. Other courses do that for PGA events, sure, but when it’s a major it should be an ass kicker.

I’d play there, absolutely. But pros chewing it up isn’t what a major should be about.

So what is going to be the winning score??

Maybe -19

It's similar to Bellerive a few years ago. Complete birdie fest. Koepka shot all rounds in the 60s with a 63 in his second round to win that week.
