Rained steady the entire day but my gauge only has an inch in it. Whatever I'll take the long cool day of sprinkling anytime.

Attended the Austin FC match last night.  Wore our rain jackets....didn't much matter.  It was a steady, at times reasonably heavy, rain.  We ended up pretty soaked, only dry in the parts completely covered by the rain jacket.  Was still fun, even though the team has clearly made an affirmative and committed decision to suck.  Ditches were full, lot of runoff, so we got a good volume of rain.

We moved our 1:30 tee time at Star Ranch to 3:30 to miss the heavier rain chances. It didn't matter.

Rained .35" during our round, which may not sound like a lot in your rain gauge, but it will pretty well soak you on the golf course. (89, 3 hours 25 minutes)

Even with that said, I won't ever complain about a 76 degree golf round in the afternoon in June in Central Texas.

We got 1.2" in NW Travis.  Normally 10-12 hours of non-stop rain will result in more than that, but I can't complain.

At my house, the potential 14" rain bomb dropped 1.4", so I assume they just put the decimal point in the wrong place.

It apparently rained enough to flood the golf course in Manor, although I think you could accidentally spill a cup of water and flood that place.

2.87 inches in 78748. I was quite stunned when the gauge read that this morning.

1.9" in my back yard here at the Canyon Lake MethODome.

Why do you punish your self? And not talking about the rain.

Meh, we have fun at the matches, even when the team sucks.

pouring again here in west Buder

Couple of gully washers came through here this afternoon. Added an inch.

The July-Sept outlook isn't as gloomy as it once was.

Day two of golf in the rain. Lions. (84, 3:55). Luckily we were just finishing 15 and we're able to get under the shelter by the 11th green to ride it out for 15 minutes or so.

Let he who has not gotten in a shouting match with their significant other about dildos cast the first stone.

Huge news ….

We are now drought free in the Coastal Bend, at least when it comes to our soil moisture. This means you can take a break from watering for a while. Lake levels remain low. There was a boost to a combined level of 26% right after the rain from Tropical Storm Alberto and we have remained fairly steady since last Thursday. Yeah, I didn't think we were supposed to see anything until Monday. Some nasty lightning strikes.

Weak front that came through. SCW mentioned it midweek - no cool or dry air, just cloud cover and some rain

This is not Beryl shit

Dammit why won't this cluster of showers move east of 35,

Bruh. There’s a hurricane coming that’ll help you over there. Let us have this!

Rained hard right after I finished cleaning the truck, so all you Cedar Park surlyans (surlyites?) are welcome.

Man, we both know you and me are not getting anything. I just do not want to water tonight. Is that too much to ask?

I decided to power rush our living room rug today.  You're welcome.

Is that a euphemism for banging one’s spouse?

Just rained here for about 90 seconds. Probably all I get.

While everyone is getting their dicks all hard over Beryl, this July shower in the Austin area deserves a hat tip.

If Beryl turns a bit west, this rain could turn out to be why the lakes fill up. Almost at an inch in west lake so far. Fingers crossed!
