I was heading home a little after 10, taking Mopac south, and it was impossible for me to go faster than 30-35. Kicking up a rooster tail more often than not. It was f'n coming down.

50% chance of rain today in NB. Also a 50% chance that my dog starts crapping out gold nuggets.

Just had a nice 20 minute dump out at Lake LBJ. Looks like another one is coming, too.

Didn't get the rain but that first wisp of NW wind followed by the passage of the front / associated cool down never gets old. With a nice glass of bourbon it remains a simple, yet fantastic, pleasure.

Had ten minutes of light rain in 78753, followed by the power going out. Good job, Austin Energy.

Remember, you're not supposed to get the grid wet.

At least after midnight.

Or is it that you're not supposed to feed it after midnight.

woke up this morning with moist air, moisture all on the ground and sense that maybe, just maybe, it rained like South Austin's mom was excited last night.
