Not entirely up to him, but I'm hoping CP stays put.

Not sure what's best for Pepi. As long as he gets a chance to play often and is challenged to continue improving, I don't care where he goes.  Along with Balogun, he's our best striker and that pinpoint, clinical finish against Jamaica the other day is a great example.

I'll take the guy who just made the Serie A team of the season and who has the best goals to caps ratio in USMNT history despite playing on the wing for the worst manager in USMNT history.

I have a hard time believing the Pepi rumors given that he’s not even a starter in a lesser league.

I would really like our guys to stop going to England. Italy is such a much better fit for CP and it would be a shame for him to leave. Who was the last player the EPL turned out well for? Dempsey?

Antone Robinson is killing it in England.  But in general I agree, I’d like to see Pepi in Italy or Spain.

How can you be an England-based footballer from Jamaica and lose your passport? Holy shit, what a bizarre thing. Sympathies to McClaren--that's got to be infuriating.

"lost their passports"? How does that happen for these guys?

Oh please. They're going to act how they act regardless.

England was able to clean shit up. Expect more, police better and take down the fences.

They have given up in a lot of these places and don't even try.

Love the guy, even though he and McKenzie got absolutely cooked on the play that led to Jamaica's failed PK. (And, somehow, only Ream got criticized for it, but McKenzie was equally fucking inept at marking Shamar Nicholson on that play.)

ESPN's Mark Ogden gives his verdict on Christian Pulisic possibly returning to the Premier League:

Pulisic is enjoying the best season of his career with Milan and seems to have found a place where he can thrive after a difficult time at Chelsea. Already this term he's got seven goals and four assists for the Rossoneri in all competitions, and in Serie A he's ranked fifth for chances created (24) and seventh for expected assists (2.11).

But as much as Pulisic is having a great season with Milan, I don't see any of those potential moves being a possibility -- certainly not in January.

Liverpool are stacked with attacking players, and their priority is to bolster Arne Slot's midfield having failed to sign Real Sociedad's Martín Zubimendi during the summer window.

And United, who like Liverpool have considered a move for Pulisic in the past, are just setting out under new coach Rúben Amorim and it's unlikely that the former Sporting CP coach has arrived at Old Trafford with the USMNT star at the top of his list of potential signings. But a bigger issue would be the fee -- United don't have the money spend €60m on a player with a chequered past in the Premier League.

West Ham? Unless Pulisic is desperate to give up the Champions League with one of Italy's biggest clubs for a Premier League relegation battle, you can forget this one.

Yeah I'm not saying it couldn't be improved just that fence or no fence I still think you're going to see similar behavior.

Same with Ream. Sargent has been great in the Championship - Aaronson is doing well this season in the championship.

Seems like less of an England problem and more of a big English club problem where you have deep rosters and unrealistic fan expectations and a lot of impatience.

And - yes - the style of play in the PL is more physically demanding and less forgiving.

easily

antonio served a 1-match suspension on friday so he likely stayed in london and told the team he would join them in st. louis

but given his nosedive in form this season for the hammers - 1 goal, 1 assist - he probably decided it was best to bail on jamaica and avoid 15000 miles of jetlag for a lost cause because we are going to throttle jamaica tonight and if antonio doesn't get it going for his club his days in england are over at 34

Omg we look good.

That was electric.

I can’t figure out what formation we’re in. Robinson is drifting inside a ton.

Whatever it is, it's working.  Granted having a decent pitch is helping, too, but it seems like some switch got flipped and the quality is just MUCH better than last match.

Have a brace, CP10.

Might be an OG.

Pitch is a huge factor imo. We score at least 2 last game on a better surface.

He’s moving to the left 6 when we are in possession while McKennie moves up

Nice little ass kicking we got here.

I think Poch told Robinson "just go fuck shit up"

Was just thinking - have I ever seen us score 3G in a half before?

Hopefully greggggg is realizing how awful he is as he watches this

Tactical Manager talked about it the other day

We come out in a 4-2-3-1

But when we have the ball, we attack

Um yeah we've done it a lot.

Against a team that's (supposed) to be quality though definitely not much.

We're more effective in the attack, but the difference in the midfield is shocking. This team finally looks multidimensional in possession and Jamaica is absolutely outclassed in the middle third.

Poch has us using a multi prong attack. Both brining the ball up the wing and up the middle. It was basically what we wanted GGG to do. It’s not really that complicated. I don’t know why GGG didn’t do it more.

Tanner Tessmann is the fucking truth.  Got damn.  The beautifully weighted ball to Weston, then busting a lung to deliver a perfect dummy.  Dude played a great half of soccer.

C'mon fellers let's not make this interesting.

FUCKING BEAUTY FOR TIM WEAH!!!!

Damn. These boys got some sauce.

It's hard to get over how fuckin good Antonee is.

Can’t believe GB showed up to this. Seems very off putting to me.

I hope he see just what this team can do when they are freed up. He was such ass.

Welp. Back line still has its issues.

This Pochettino dude might know what he’s doing.
