I don't condone that behavior, but I am impressed with his flight path. Dude has some hops. I laugh thinking about what my attempt at that would look like.

does he have any eligibility left?

Did he yell “Leroy Jenkins!” as he was jumping?

The reddit lawyer forum indicates that she's an excellent and well-respected judge.

What a shitshow.

Bailiff still blocks better than either OT for the Chiefs.

Young guy in the dark suit punches like the average Surly poster.

I’m not sure I would call those punches.  It’s been a few minutes since I threw a punch, but those were more like pokes.  If you have a guy on the ground somewhat at your mercy, I want to see some full arm extension and follow through.

I presume that when you attach a judge like that, they just walk you out to pasture and put a bullet in your head, right?

And every deputy in that room needs to be fired.

Perp got a few serious swings in on the bailiff while the guy in the suit was behind him.

It would seem her decision to deny probation was vindicated.

Unfortunately, no.

Defendant failed to strenuously object.  Needed a better lawyer.

I thought he might have killed his gf, not that he was a pederast.

Cruel world once again denies him his chance to live as a peaceful citizen.

Especially since that was clearly a court of admiralty law, given the gold fringe on the American flag.

Who was on his sweatshirt?

Judge was unharmed btw, which is amazing.

His mother said he is a good kid.  He deserves probation.  How else is he gonna rob again so he can feed his kids if he is left in jail.  He don't deserve jail time.  Now his kids gonna go hungry.

Does he not have a right to travel around the country? It just so happened she occupied the space he was traveling in at that particular time.

Bailiff/reporter/whatever might not have the best fighting form, but he damn sure didn't hesitate to engage at the beginning.  Nice tackle.

Looks like someone watched the Von Erich movie this week.

Well, he's not as mobile as he used to be.

Deobra Redden is an upstanding citizen.

"Ridden has a criminal record and as per reports, he is a three-time felon. He had a history of violent crimes, said a prosecutor during the hearing. The prosecutor asked the judge for a prison term for Ridden based on his alleged crimes. Ridden had allegedly indulged in home invasion, acts of violence, domestic violence and battery on a protected person, reported new3lv."

Biggie

I became a Superior Court bailiff six months after a felon sent a birthday present pipe bomb and blew up the chief judge of the judicial district.

Five minutes earlier every judge and the court administrator were standing around his desk getting ready for him to open the package when he got a call from home that was private. Everybody left the room - five minutes later it blew up.   Every morning I worked there I swept the courtroom for explosives before I made coffee.

Sounds like a fairly dangerous janitor gig, but thank you for your service.

Those bailiffs don't carry stun guns?  Seems a million volts to the neck would change his mind about things.

Over/under on how many of those crimes happened when somebody called him "Debra."

Back in the day, I carried a J frame Model 36 Chiefs Special.  I did not anticipate having to John Wick my way through many people - just maybe shoot one idiot.
