January 6, 20241 yr Helm isn’t the ATH JT was, but he’s a solid replacement. congrats to JT though. You made your mark. Hook’em!
January 6, 20241 yr I may question our pass defense and Sark's playcalling at times, but I do not question his roster building and recruiting. Losing JT sucks, but it was anticipated and Sark will address it.
January 6, 20241 yr Man I wanted him back worse than anyone besides ewers. I haven’t done the research, but it felt like if he had at least five touches in a game, we won going away.

January 6, 20241 yr Not to be one of 'those people,' but if your opponents don't score and you also don't score, you don't win. The game is a tie. Okay, maybe it's fun to be one of those people.

January 7, 20241 yr Author Jalen Catalon committed to UNLV. Going back to play for his old defensive coach. Good Luck!!!

January 7, 20241 yr Juan Davis plays hard as fuck. His blocks and runs are always violent. Hopefully he can get close to 250lbs by August.

He has the size to potentially have a nice NFL career but I felt like more often than not he lost 50/50 balls and was just not quite good enough to make the big play. He rarely got burnt outright but he always just seemed a step slow and was a half second away from stopping the big play that just happened. I'm happy with Watt's tenure at Texas. He had size and played physical. We're upgrading our secondary talent, but I expect our young guys are going to take some lumps. I do expect us to generate more pressure next year, especially from the edge to protect those guys.

Texas isn’t going to be inexperienced in the secondary next year. A lot depends on Barron’s decision, which is said to be a coin flip. Assuming he isn’t back the secondary will likely be Williams, Taffee, Makuba (NB), Brooks (CB), and Muhammad (CB)..All of them got substantial minutes. If Barron comes back that likely bumps Taffee out of starting safety spot and Mukuba likely slots in there Edited January 8, 20241 yr by Codaxx

January 8, 20241 yr Where are the rumors coming from about Adonai Mitchell returning? His post-game comments make me think he’s 99% gone.
January 8, 20241 yr 3 hours ago, SuperSport said: Probably from the 1%. That's some solid math right there.
January 8, 20241 yr Bobby had an interesting point on Agbo. That if he could get down to 260-270 and keep or increase athleticism that he could become a good inline tight end.

Scipio mentioned something similar a few weeks ago but in relation to the portal instead of Agbo. Said everyone thinks we’ll go after a down the field threat but if there is a great 260 lb inline TE out there that could pose just as many matchup problems the way sark likes to deploy two te sets. Interesting that guy could already be on campus
