March 31, 20241 yr We had to go stay with friends who kept power during the snowmageddon a few years ago and used it as an excuse to clear out his beer fridge. It became a game to see who could find the oldest one. I think the winner was a 7 year old Fireman’s 4. Tasted fine. Edited March 31, 20241 yr by 4th&Five

April 6, 20241 yr Checked out a newish Dallas brewery (opened 4 months ago): Jaquval Brewing in Bishop Arts. Good beers, good sandwiches and very British pub vibes. Recommended.
April 6, 20241 yr Shoutout to Pecan Point in Texarkana! We’re making our way through to Waco, then Austin for the TSE, and they had solid beer (pic of the Cerveza didn’t turn out), awesome food, and they were very kind to our dog. Nice space and attentive staff with owner on site. Highly recommend Fried turkey sandwich 12/10Best good road dog

April 28, 20241 yr Heading out to the Sonoma area later this week for a wedding. Just realized my hotel is only 10 minutes away from Russian River! It's been almost exactly 10 years since my first and only visit.
