I stopped at Zilker last time I was in Austin (en route to 2018 Alamo Bowl).  Damn good beer.

They have several good beers, for me their coffee milk stout is quite special.

This reminds me of going to the liquor store in college and picking up some 'imports' to try new things.

85% of them were like 3 years beyond their drink by date (like in armybrat’s picture)

We had to go stay with friends who kept power during the snowmageddon a few years ago and used it as an excuse to clear out his beer fridge. It became a game to see who could find the oldest one. I think the winner was a 7 year old Fireman’s 4. Tasted fine.

Had the exact same thought.  A lot of those I haven’t drank since I was 19

Church Music Hazy IPA. A must whenever I’m in Phoenix. On a Hazy kick lately.

Maybe it's just because it's Monday, maybe I'm just dumb as rocks, but I'm scratching my brain on this one.

Checked out a newish Dallas brewery (opened 4 months ago): Jaquval Brewing in Bishop Arts. Good beers, good sandwiches and very British pub vibes. Recommended.

Shoutout to Pecan Point in Texarkana! We’re making our way through to Waco, then Austin for the TSE, and they had solid beer (pic of the Cerveza didn’t turn out), awesome food, and they were very kind to our dog. Nice space and attentive staff with owner on site. Highly recommend

Was there last month and it beat the brakes off of RedBone Magic

Man I love Troy Aikman, but his Eight beer is just pricier Michelob Ultra.

What I now expect when I see in the preview that Greenspoint has posted in this thread

Randomly The Bruery is expanding a taphouse up to the Boise area next to Top Golf. Looking forward to the videos of the dudes falling into the netting from the 2nd floor.

Not to usurp Greenspoint here but as I was scrolling IG while watching the draft, I just came upon this:

Heading out to the Sonoma area later this week for a wedding. Just realized my hotel is only 10 minutes away from Russian River! It's been almost exactly 10 years since my first and only visit.
