We would have matched up better with Michigan, but they are a better team.

Giving the 4K sky cam feed a chance. Fucking hate how they have the camera on top of the QB’s head. Horrible lack of perspective

Pressure man. The thing is Arizona and other teams got a ton of pressure on him and flustered him and he came out after the half and adjusted by the middle of the third quarter.

And another that would have been a completion against us

That is the difference. They are getting pressure with just 4. And when they got to him, wrapped him and got him down. He escaped that against us and got a big completion.

Penix's draft stock is on a yo-yo

The more film you have, the more they see what you do wrong.

why doesn't Michigan send blitzes 5 seconds after the play starts?

Probably didn't hurt Penix having a month to gameplan against us.  This is a night and day difference from last week.  He couldn't fucking miss against us.

He had a ton of room for error in those games since those teams weren't on the talent level of tonight's team. There was a stretch in the middle of the year where he looked like ass quite often. Which seemed to be why he lost that Heisman and probably why Oregon was a 10pt favorite in the Pac-12 game.

Michigan can probably just run the clock out at this point. UW O looking pretty inept since their RB got banged up against us.

Counterpoint: we had a month too.

The lack of holding calls now at all levels of football is an epidemic that needs to be addressed....it's out of control

Who knew udub was susceptible to giving up big run plays...

Running game more effective when holding not called?  Who woulda known.

Well unless you are a Longhorns and Cowboys fan. Plenty of holds that go against us, at the worst possible moments.

Best Wash CB just got injured...  if Mich doesn't turn ball over soon this game may be over.

Yep.  All the woulda, coulda, shoulda stuff is tiring.  We had our chance.  We got beat.

All that type of talk is silly.

Others may have a different opinion.

Counter-counterpoint: you can have all the time in the world, it doesn't matter when the opposing QB is dropping darts into tiny windows all over the field

It really is bad across the board. Some league refs seem worse than others (Pac and Big XIi bad, SEC and B1G better) Then there are stupid ass refs groups with motives. (See CFP and Big XII for data points).

Yeah, that was terrible.

If they made all the linemen wear JPP style hand covers this problem would go away.

Sixth year senior with a month to prepare. He knew every coverage and every blitz he’d see.

the one that averaged 2 yards a carry against us?

So far just my thoughts. The blue print to beat UW was there, I think Sark was just in his own way tryna be balance.

I fucking love Michigan running it on 3rd and 8. Come on go for it.
