To be fair - Almost none of them are.  I think a lot of owners are betting on much larger salary caps 2-3 years out to help cover it. Dallas is really hurting - QB and wide receiver both want bucks. That might be close to 40% of cap a few years out. They can rig the numbers for 1 or 2 years but at some point it has to be paid

To me it's pretty simple. If you are paid $60m or whatever absurd number, and your team can't afford other things they need because of your contract, you'd better be a dude that can put the team on your back. Dak has proven time and again that he can't. I think there are maybe 3 players worth maxing out for a QB contract. I truly don't understand why any team wouldn't just point to Mahomes and say "you think you deserve more than that guy? Fuck off".

The only purpose it serves is to make agents more money. It isn't logical in any football sense that's for sure.

  • It is funny so many people bitch about her, but she's not running the camera.  She's sitting there watching a football game.  The vitriol by a lot of people is way misguided.

As if Jerrah could say "Fuck Off" to any overspending opportunity when it comes to roster management.

Not just him. The list of owners who overpay is a lot longer than those who don't
