January 8, 20241 yr I'll be in Rome for a few weeks this January. Looking to go to the Dolomites for a long weekend. Would definitely like some recommendations on places to go and to stay...
January 8, 20241 yr For skiing? Madonna di Campiglio Val Gardena (I learned to ski in Selva... its beautiful) Alta Badia Canazei If you stay in a place like the last three, you'll be connected to the Sella Ronda - https://www.igluski.com/ski-resorts/ski-areas/sella-ronda Also, guides are cheap in Europe. Hire a private guide to go off-piste. Have stayed here http://www.risaccia.it/ and here https://www.hotel-piccolo.com/en/ but I don't know if they do less than a week at a time. In Selva there are a bunch of places in the green area... Specifically Val Gardena Ortisei is the most expensive option. Edited January 8, 20241 yr by texasdago
