blue fucks us again.  gonna stay that way as long as this is in OKC.

Think it's a curse to wear the C patch if you are on the longhorns team today :(

Is like you would’ve swore OU beat us every game this season.

We look so scared

She hits .400 because if she hits it she's already a third of the way to the bag.

I saw her have success against teams with weaker defense but she hasn't done anything in the post season against good defenses. She is just an easy out against good teams.

They have the mental edge. It’s crystal clear and to gain any edge we really needed to come out strong in this one, after relatively cruising to the final and they barely made it.

Plus, we’ve only scored what, 8 runs against OU over the five games so far this season? Not confidence inspiring for the rest of the series.

OU hits balls hard in the gaps or over the fence and puts balls in play for stupid shit like that to happen. We hit balls hard right at folks and strike out

That was the RF ball all the way and she was just jogging in.   Good think the 2B is Willie Mays.

A bunch of seniors who have won 3 in a row versus a bunch of freshmen and sophomores who haven’t been here yet.

Spotlight too bright

I mean this is so bad I might have to watch episode 2 of the Acolyte.

OU is full of 10 seniors who have won 3 straight. We had to bring our A+ game but didn't. Hopefully, they'll have a couple of down years after this, but probably won't.

Definitely a half-step off.

Glad we get at least 2 more ABs.  Gotta get some momentum going....

Such a lame excuse. If anything the freshman and sophomores should have no pressure because they can get back here again and the seniors should have all the pressure going for 4 straight and never getting another shot at this again.

Definitely not over.  But damn.

Damn bunt if your gonna slap 1st pitch to 2B

Mental mistakes at plate are frustrating

With Maloney's batting style, she won't hit the ball hard. If a team can handle the ground ball cleanly, she is an easy out almost every time.

That’s not the way it works and you know it

That's never how this works.

you have to have that one pitcher if you want to win it all.  we don't.  We have 4 very good pitchers.  Mike needs to go get an ace.

They've got 6 of the top 11 players in 2025, according to PG:

We literally won a series against this exact team this year after dropping game 1. Stop being a pussy.

idk, it’s all a mind thing. I don’t think she was scared of Stanford like OU

We are intimidated.

Kavan can easily be that. But also I imagine Canady will be looking for an offense.

Losing to OU make us turn on each other

Because there's nothing worse in the world.

Bring the bats tomorrow and we on 💪🏻💪🏻

We haven’t out slugged ou ever. We’ve beaten them with excellent pitching and defense, and a couple of runs.

100%

See yall for game two. The pussification in this thread is too much for me. We didn’t show up tonight, but tomorrow is a new day.

I mean if they’re going to throw bats after swinging into a pitch might as well

This is the inverse of the volleyball championship. Experienced defend champs Texas vs a very young Nebraska team.
