It’s not often we will get a road game against a vulnerable opponent where the arena will probably be half full.

Have to take advantage.

Get Disu the ball and have Tyrese smoke some crack before the game.

Flagrant ?

so weird that nobody even mentioned it. he grabbed brock by his neck and nobody batted an eye. strange.

ftr i think he was just trying to save himself from falling, but it was weird that nobody acknowledged it.

oddly, other than the postseason last year we have been objectively terrible at defending the three from the moment that RT took over.

That screen handoff by Disu worked very well at the end of last season… would like to see more of it.

Welp, I'm out.  ESPN+ account is borked.  Good luck to the 'horns.

every team we play just gets wide open, uncontested looks from three all day. when we face teams that can shoot it is going to be very dicey.

unfortunately you have to sell it. Brock needed to act like he'd been shot.

yikes...abmas

his basketball iq is so much lower than i had anticipated. he has subpar vision and his shot selection leaves a lot to be desired. he’s much closer to AJ Abrams than i thought he would be, ie he’s not well rounded, he’s pretty much just a jump shooter and nothing else. AJ had a much higher IQ and better off ball work rate though.

I guess I should have anticipated that people have nothing better to do in West Virginia than watch a 5-10 basketball team.

Twice Abmas left the same shooter wide open and got torched

disu has been called for two phantom travels.

what effort by mitchell there.

holy shit max abmas. he’s been our worst player on both ends.

I mean we will probably win but holy fuck this team...

Abmas needs to wake the fuck up … he looks like a skittish freshman out there

I know he leads us in points per game but the play is not anywhere near the hype.

Horton is pathetic. I say it every game but it needs to be emphasized.

That air ball was… special

Horton is 9 for his last 43 from the field.

5 for his last 22 from three.

and he doesn’t ever try to get to the rim. none of our guards do really, save tyrese on occasion. i cannot fathom why our coaches don’t stress that when we have guys out here missing jumpers left and right.

Can Tyrese not be a fucking dumbass for one fucking game.

oh look, another stupid pull up jumper from abmas that clangs off the iron. this team plays such stupid basketball sometimes.

this team is gonna get smoked once they have to play some talented teams.  holy moly they are bad.

shedrick is a waste.  dude is a walking injury list.

We are playing the refs too

that is a fact. although i truly believe that the officiating often goes the way of the more aggressive team, and as long as we keep settling for bad jumpers we aren’t going to get any calls on our end.

I know he leads us in points per game but the play is not anywhere near the hype.

He’s an undersized volume shooter whose defense, floor generalship and ball handling have not been good so far … definitely struggling with the step up in competition and the expectations … he’s trying to be Steph Curry and needs to play more composed and share the rock when he’s got a man in is face

He’s shown a few flashes of being able to step up when needed but he needs to focus on improving his defense and ball control, and providing a smarter, more consistent floor product

In many ways the same can be said of Hunter, but I believe Hunter is a way better defender and much faster with the ball.

This game is a steaming pile of crap. By both teams.

It doesn't help when teammates compare him to . . . Steph Curry.

announcers talking about how wvu has struggled giving up points in the paint in two league games, yet Texas continues to shoot jumpers and not even try to get in the paint.

announcers just said the teams have six more turnovers than made baskets.

disu, onyema, weaver, brock; that’s who’s played even marginally well today.
