Money has good pull. I’m sure there’s also a clear path to immediate playing time. Not saying he’s a flip candidate, but it wouldn’t surprise me.

We would pay him equal or more, he's a top ten recruit. And who plays opposite Colin Simmons next year?

He committed to Texas before worry any of that. His relationship with PK hasn't changed. He's watching his brother play.

link?

I’m in TXK texting with PG friends that know the family as I do. Just checking with the pro 9.95 guys if there is any uproar.
Dude is not flipping to a program that may fire its coach this year or next.

Of course not. As mentioned I was checking with the ones who know.

It's not just you, it's just assurance for anyone who has that thought.

Same guy that is this year

He was also openly welcoming Mbatchou to the class on IG like 2 hours before your post. I think he’s solid as can be.

I mean, the dude literally committed in January months before junior day, I believe. He was offered last year and said since he's basically gone through the recruiting process because of his brother's, and Texas already having been at his house, it only made sense to commit to the school that you see developing players.

Sark's tenure of going

5-7 year 1

8-5 year 2

12-2 year 3

Etc... It shows improvements year after year (clearly everyone with an IQ above 70 knows this), then seeing Sweat win the Outland award after backing up Coburn and Ojomo is pretty damn strong.

I also need to thank Quinn for coming in and immediately getting us to 8 wins in year 2. Without him, we may still be trying to to find a QB and we would have a setback. Quinn and Taaffe helped land Arch (Arch also always wanted to go to Texas. There is a picture of him as a kid with a Colt Mccoy jersey on with a Texas helmet in the pose of throwing the ball).

even crazier, did you know colt mccoy’s dad and jordan shipley’s dad were friends in college?  I mean what are the odds of that?

Holy moly. I need to ask Coach Shipley about that on OTF this week. I have to make sure it's legit and not just internet rumor.

But were they roommates?

Alfred Collins part deux?

Without the three years of fucking around upfront, preferably.

Alfred Collins could never play edge. Lance Jackson is one of the rare individuals who can effectively rush the passer from the outside and hold the edge at 260-280 lbs.

He made that prediction back in April

That's why I put the disclaimer

imagine he and Colin Simmons rushing you at the same time. Right and Left tackles will look like they have concrete feet. Plus this dude will add more weight and move around, which will absolutely suck for an opposing offense.

We have serious ballers all over the defense. Arch having his offensive weapons will be absurd, as well. Hopefully Golden returns (doubtful), but we'll still have Wingo, Moore, Butler (I can't wait to see what that kid can do), adding Ffrench and Lockett, McCutchen, and you know Sark will grab 1-2 portal studs. Let's just pray our RB room is healthy. I know we'll have 5 RB'S on scholarship, but one just tore his achillies, so who knows how that will pan out, then we have Gibson, while getting experience, has been prone to fumble, then 2 frosh. Baxter being back helps, but Sark really should look to see if he can find a bad ass RB in the portal, much like fOSU did with Judkins, and Bama with Gibbs.

so you're just an idiot then?

I don't really count on them til they are signed so I don't waste time reading about speculation based on the whims of teenagers, so if that makes me the idiot, then sure whatever

You posted worrying about a commit and your proof was something from a year and a half ago, that makes you the idiot. Every fucking time the football board leaks in here with some bullshit "guys I'm too cool to follow recruiting but should we worry about losing vince young?"

Well asshole, I responded to future asking for a link. It was the only prediction there, if it was dated and violates some precious little protocol here then

I think we should since Vince is no longer eligible.
