February 28, 20241 yr I remember rolling up to the Disch to drink beer before our Sunday night game, and IU was already up like 9-0 on the Ags in the 2nd. LF guys were just absolutely torching the poor Ag left fielder.

February 28, 20241 yr 2018. Indiana beat aggy and then we finished them off. Tenn. Tech won the Ole Miss regional, so we got to host them in the Super. They had that pitcher that guaranteed that they were going to beat us and then got shelled. That was my first year to go to the CWS where I got to see us go 2 and Q.

Shugart got the save in the regional final, yep. Couple huge Ks. That month of baseball was some of my favorite ever. The series win at Tech (3 Kody HRs). The sweep vs TCU to win the conference (3 Kody HRs) on the last weekend of the regular season. The regional win (2 Kody HRs vs Atm). The supers comeback (3 Kody HRs). I can’t seem to remember what happened after that…
March 4, 20241 yr -OU is in trouble again. And it's pitching again, which has become a theme under Skip. Funny note: Justin Eckhardt got the save against them for Ohio State yesterday -Texas Tech playing Texas Southern and Gardner Webb in back-to-back weekends is embarrassing and will cost them come tournament time. -TCU played with fire again this weekend but again it didn't burn them. - WVU and Cincy suck. Might be 2 of the worst 3 teams along with Baylor and we don't play either of them. Edited March 4, 20241 yr by Hookem2147
March 6, 20241 yr I've never even heard of Utah Tech. Damn...It used to be the oddly named Dixie State

March 10, 20241 yr OSU has lost a series to Sam Houston and now games to Utah Tech(?) and Mercer. On the other hand they beat Arkansas and Oregon State. Seeme like the might be a little top heavy.
March 10, 20241 yr Tech and TCU both start 1-2, and Texas picks up a series win on the road against a top-five conference foe. Great start to league play!
March 11, 20241 yr This weekend was pretty rough for Texas Tech pitching and fielding. They now sport a 6.02 ERA and .961 fielding percentage.

March 11, 20241 yr Is it asking too much for the conference to get the standings correct? Kansas State is 2-1. Cincy is 1-2.

March 16, 20241 yr So much for everyone crowning tcu conf champs in the preseason Off to a 1-3 start Edited March 16, 20241 yr by WBT
March 17, 20241 yr Down 26-6 in the bottom of the 9th, WVU scratches across five runs so that they only lose....at home....to Ohio State...by 15.
March 18, 20241 yr It’s still relatively early, but Peyton Tolle has a 5.2 ERA and is hitting .216 for TCU. This is the second straight season they took a portal pitcher expecting him to be their ace and it hasn’t gone well. Ryan Vanderhei from Kansas last year was eventually moved to the bullpen after being the Friday night guy to start the year.
March 18, 20241 yr This conference is not very good this season. Probably only going to get four or so teams in the tournament. Edited March 18, 20241 yr by MuellerHorn
March 18, 20241 yr @slorch, how the hell did y'all lose a series to us? We're as bad as it gets in power conference baseball.
