I really liked the movie, worth seeing if you never have. I hope this is good but I didn’t love that trailer. A little hokey.

Agree.

If you want to blow your mind watch Gandhi followed by Sexy Beast and you will realize Ben Kingsley is an acting giant amongst mere mortals.

I wish I saw this earlier. I have another 150 minutes of Once Upon a Time in America.

It's a LONG ass movie, but hard to turn off.

Without Ray Winstone and Ben Kingsley the move wouldn't have been much, so I don't see how this will measure up in anyway.

Started watching this on a whim...had no idea it was a prequel.

Had no idea there even was a movie called Sexy Beast.

I like the show, but I never got the vibe that Don wasn’t in Gal and Aitch’s crew/ didn’t come up with them. An associate, an enforcer sure, but not close to them. I guess it’s not a very familiar prequel if Don isn’t a main character.

The actor nailed Don’s mannerisms, and the show provides a believable backstory. But this character couldn’t exist in the real world. He’d get arrested every 5 minutes.
