Yep… I’m stuck on FSD 12.5 because I have hardware 3.  Will have to get a hardware upgrade to get the newer versions.  Will be no cost to me, but will have to wait until it’s available.  Who knows when that will be.

Fascistmobile is not the preferred nomenclature, swasticar or model ss, please.

I’m not going to go out of my way to fuck with someone’s cybertruck, but if they want to flash a nazi salute my way they better be prepared to catch some hands.

So that's not satire? I foolishly had assumed it was like the Onion. They start riding around doing sieg heils they're gonna find out how fragile that glass really is real quick.

And I'm sure that Leon would never roll a half-assed system out in beta testing just because a bunch of people didn't want him to do it or told him that he couldn't do it.

Go drive around west campus.  Between the Lambos, the scooters, and the driverless cars you are taking your well-being in your hands.

There is, apparently, an ideal time for your spacecraft to blow up.

Guess who won't help clean that up or accept any responsibility whatsoever?

This is an interesting version of rent seeking behavior.

Temu and Alibaba too much of a threat?  It's weird how many people I know have bought from Temu, that are not "savvy" in terms of online....well anything, not just retail.

I've seen Waymo cars a lot driving through my area, basically every day, and none of them have acted weird/dangerous.

I can't wait to see what happens when Leon unleashes Teslas.  If it's anything like his robots, he'll probably have humans driving them remotely.

It's been a minute (since we moved our kid in in August and hit up a game in September), but I quickly develop a very fuck-you attitude (with appropriate yielding to pedestrians became I'm not a monster) when driving on W. Campus.

/also, say WAMPUS to me and I'll fight you.  That sounds like a snow monster from ESB and is only slightly worse than SOCO

Idk if you're in East Austin but there's a shitload of them all in the neighborhood. They used to freak me out a bit because I occasionally run through the neighborhood, and a little doubt would cross my mind that they'd stop to let me cross or get too close to me to pass me if I'm on the road, but they've been fine. Still kinda freak me out because they park behind the cemetery that's across MLK from Disch-Falk and just wait there often. On 14th st.

Pretty sure Chicon is their main drag. Have yet to see one on the highway though.

I still laugh at each and every Cybertruck I see.

It's like having an all-time great SNL skit just show up right in front of me.

A blueprint to lose 80% value. Sounds about right.

I can only imagine the personal injury lawyers going into a feeding frenzy if this shit goes sideways.

I see Waymos every day around Austin. They're of course very obvious. I have seen them navigate some challenging driving scenarios including safely and "decisively" pulling out of a side street on South Congress across multiple lanes, during heavier traffic periods.

I would never get in one personally and likely won't need to.

That said, the Tesla robotaxis better also be clearly labeled because I will give those several hundred yards of clearance, take a different route or pull over to prepare to dial 911 in anticipation of the accidents.

Oh, my sweet summer child.

In yet another episode of crank-gobbling simpness, Greg Abbott will call a special session to pass legislation exempting all car companies that rhyme with "Mesla" from all civil liability for incidents involving self-driving cars.

You know I'm right.

Oh....you think we can hold the Republic's loss of value to 80%.  God, I love optimists sometimes.

The endgame is Trump says something should or shouldn't be spent... Congress disagrees... Elmo does what trump says.

Controlling all of the civil services means he could turn off NOAA or the FAA if they give SpaceX any guff. It's a full on oligarchy

Given how he handled the twitter buyout, we all probably should've guessed he'd literally set up a cot in the office that actually processes all of the government's fucking payments.

  • Tesla earlier this week reported a $600 million profit associated with its bitcoin holdings, which accounted for a little more than a quarter of its fourth-quarter profits.
  • The company was able to book these bitcoin-derived profits thanks to a change in Financial Accounting Standards Board guidelines for crypto assets.

I’m sure that’s a sound strategy.

Nothing like having the thief handle the book work.

He will have an acrimonious separation from dotard. I just hope it happens while we still have a “functioning” country.
