Maybe it was discussed here but supposedly other new laws have even been passed in the US that will require sites like X, Facebook, or others to take down deepfakes within a matter of hours. Still seems too long.

Takes effect in May. Leon was not happy last year when it was passed.

Not en masse. Just a cursory list from Google includes Stabile Diffusion, Cloth Off, Nudifiers (which seems to be a generic term appearing to comprise many bots), Runway ML, and obviously since late last year but to a lesser degree of severity, Grok. In court filings, since all this use of AI was able to be criminalized over the last couple of years in particular, many AI bots used to create and spread CSAM around the web don't appear to be cited in the specific court cases. The BBC recently said users could use Grok to create Level C (lowest level) criminal images, but then turned to non-mainstream bots above to create Level A (worst level) images

You're missing his point - those tools all exist, but they aren't directly integrated with and responding to social media posts autonomously. A person makes a choice to create and publish that stuff, whereas when grok does it there is nobody to hold accountable. Since we've decided oligarchs are above the law, of course

I am not familiar with any of those, but you compared Grok to ChatGPT.

It's reported ChatGPT and other AI bots are able to create equally disturbing content, so let's apply any common sense actions and new laws equally to all AI bots.

I was curious if someone could prompt one of the prominent AIs and have it automatically post CSAM to Twitter, in the way Elon has built Grok.

Wives and the Stupid Shit they say is on another board.

lol. Maybe do a basic search to find multiple studies about this, from a wide range of reputable sources. I recommend avoiding AI when conducting your search.

A. America was built on stolen land

B. I love America

It's pretty simple because I have more than two brain cells to rub together. I am so exhausted of this nonsense.

They've got a new acronym in their sights to obsess about.

Probably workshopped by some "thinktank" for several months last year. There's always somebody trying to find the next thing for them to obsess over.
