Truth. RIP Brother Wayne.

Looks like I’ll be visiting the Grande Ballroom in September.

While checking out the online tributes to Brother Wayne, I ran across this video of the early 2000s version of MC5 doing "Kick Out The Jams" on Craig Kilborn's old late night talk show.  Blast from the past.  Mark Arm, Evan Dando, and Marshall Crenshaw doing the vocals.  Dennis Thompson the drummer is now the last original member still living I believe.  I wonder if Wayne's shirt was a nod to his stretch in prison.

There's a video somewhere of Wayne, Dennis, Mike Davis, Lemmy and Gilby Clarke.

Thanks for the heads up -- I had no idea.  Found one on Youtube.  Music starts about 40 seconds in.

Not a lot of people knew he was involved with Jail Guitar Doors.

Otis interviewed him on Thanks for Giving a Damn a few years ago.
