The book was really good.  This one looks like it has a chance.

March 12.

History Channel covered the subject pretty well in the The Hunt for John Wilkes Booth, but that was some years back, 2007. I guess it's time for a new spin on historical material. I'm interested.

First two eps available now, new ones every Friday I believe.

Liking it so far. A few bits of dialogue that felt slightly too modern but the production quality is good. Tobias Menzes is a great actor.

I’m definitely a sucker for period pieces as well as assassination history.

Like it so far.  Apple is killing it with historical dramas.

My dad: I’m just going to get Apple TV for Masters of the Air and then I’ll cancel it.

Apple TV:

As an article I saw recently puts it, Apple TV has cornered the market on prestige dad tv.

I always used to dig all the Lincoln & Kennedy similarities. I think they were on a card you could buy at Stuckey's to go with that pecan log...

Lincoln had a secretary named Kennedy and Kennedy had a secretary named Lincoln.

Boothe shot Lincoln in a theatre and hid in a warehouse. Oswald shot Kennedy from a warehouse and hid in a theatre, etc.

Watched the first two eps last night. Some of the acting is blah but it's otherwise very very good. Anthony Boyle is quickly becoming a must-see talent on screen for me

I thought it was settled that Booth was a male model being manipulated and brainwashed by the fashion industry.

and not to  completely threadshit but there's some irregularities at play here with these particular Presidential killings

About to watch. Do they have Boothe escaping and living out his days in Granbury? Acting in the court square Opry House?
