Wow, what utter shit. I can't say I've seen everything that Apatow has done but this has to be the worst work I've seen from him. Not a single laugh in this thing.

Karen Gillan tries her best. Duchovny delivers one of the worst performances I've seen.

Apatow's daughter is hot.

  • Here it is, in short. I would need to cross check some things to make sure it is all correct, but this is the story in brief: Some time in March, 1944, the 45th was moving into Germany in near co

Linklater doesn't disappoint with Hitman. Extremely entertaining.

I don't want to give anything away, but the story could have veered off in many idiotic and cliched directions and thankfully it didn't.

Hitler and the Nazis: Evil on Trial is pretty good if you’re into that sort of thing.

Watched "Scoop" with my wife last night.  It's about the booking of Prince Andrew on News Night in the UK and his disastrous interview regarding Jeffrey Epstein (the New York financier).  Definitely not essential, but interesting enough for your time.  If your wife is interested in the royals and their insanity, you can get some easy points here.

How to Rob a Bank is pretty good.
The two FBI dudes are completely opposite, yet both massive douchebags

Massive lying douchebags that hate each other is how I took it.

RenFaire is fucking insane.  Didn't make it through the first episode, but wanted to check it out since the festival is 20 minutes from where my wife grew up and she's been to it multiple times.  I'm not sure if it's all a big joke or not.  Weird folks though.

Episode 2 of Renfaire was better.  The scene with George at Olive Garden with his “date” WTF

They take that stuff seriously.  I love Renaissance festivals, but there’s a lot of people that really love them.

Fantastic doc. The color footage makes that world so tactile and horrifying. Chilling stuff.

Sweet Tooth season 3 (final season) dropped. A whimsical post-apocalyptic show that has held up.

Interesting casting call.

"We need someone to play Hitler for 6 episodes, but there won't be audio on the reenactments, so, you know, just do some classic Hitler mannerisms, mouth some German sounding words, and act like your head is going to launch off your shoulders from rage. Oh, did I mention that almost all of it is going to be filmed in slow motion?"

Agreed. I’m on episode 6. Very well done.

The guy just copied the "hitler reacts" from Downfall.

Dude looked like Hitler's little brother.

Watched Scouts Honor.  Not sure why the ex leader dude even agreed to be on there.

Glad I was never in the Boy Scouts to get diddled by man leader.....sorry for those of you who were and did.

I’m an Eagle Scout and have nothing but great experiences in scouting. That would have been early 70’s. There were two primary troops in jr high: one at the Methodists and mine at the Baptists. My three buddies that were in the Methodist troop got diddled by the pedo scoutmaster on campouts. They all went to shit, going from good kids to criminals overnight. None made it to 30; two died in drunken car wrecks and the third suicided. The parents didn’t press charges to avoid shaming their sons but I think that impacted them as much as the dads couldn’t quit talking about it. They were always plotting to kill the pedo but never did anything.

Nicola Coughlan’s steamy start to the costume romp’s third season is the show’s most passionate yet – although it’s not the worst TV episode you could unwittingly watch on public transport.

Haven't watched. Headline caught my attention.

Watched a movie called Reptile which stars Benicio Del Toro (I love anything he’s in) and Justin Timberlake. It’s predictable yet still entertaining.

The guy just copied the "hitler reacts" from Downfall.

Yeah but how does he react to aggy losing to Texas?!!

Just started The Lincoln Lawyer first five episodes.  Lead actor is well cast which makes it work and Neve Campbell is still hot.

Old documentary, but I watched Facing Nolan last night. There is so much stuff I didn't know about him..no CY awards. Hell of a pitcher, definitely worth the watch.

This is a few years old but ahead of its time. Quite relevant in the AI age. The customer guys remind me of (non specific) Surly posters lol

“Tell Them You Love Me” was a pretty wild documentary. That professor lady is fucked up.

I don’t like the actor playing Mickey, who in my head is Wooderson.

Love this show. Does anyone know if there will be a season 3?

Read the other day, yes.

Yeah. Germans began the extermination process by shooting the Jews in mass. German general was at one of the shootings. Got some brain matter on his uniform and said they needed to find a simpler process.

Chilling stuff, indeed.

The Nazi exterminations were horrible and they addressed the issue as an engineering problem, which in some ways is even more horrific. Firing squads were inefficient, they tried carbon monoxide in vehicles, until they figured out Zyclon-B and crematories. It wasn’t just 6 million Jews but gypsies, Slavs, poles, Russians, totaling about 13 million.

I’m not dismissing the evils of Hitler Germany but often glossed over is Stalin’s murder of 23 to 50 million and Mao’s 40 to 70 million.

20th Century was rough.

21st Century is almost 1/4 of the way done and we are behind by one world war already.

Just finished Hit Man. I’m in for any Linklater. Love how he evidently just flips open Texas Monthly every few years and finds a weird story to film. Our boy Glen Powell was really good, as was the female lead. Highly recommended.

I thought it was good for a Friday night movie. It ain’t Bernie but few are. I want to dig up the original article from Texas monthly

For some reason I started watching Dancing for the Devil, another cult documentary. Man the leader is a piece of shit. I’m not for vigilante justice but in his case I’d understand.

None of y'all will watch it for ... reasons ... but PLEASE watch just the first episode of "Tour de France Overdrive Season 2."  Holy shit.   My female friend who doesn't care about cycling (or even sports, really), watched this with me and got hooked.  It's a badass documentary series and the action shots, taken with cameras mounted to the bicycles as they race down mountains at 65 mph, and the crashes are insane.  Really gripping stuff about a sport that most Americans know very little about.

So my daughter started watching Alexa and Katie, a teen series about two best friends, one of whom has cancer, and she’s like hyper focused on the show for reasons.  She asked me to watch a funny episode with her, and I recognized one of the girls as the daughter in the Yellowstone spin-off 1883.

And then the main girl’s mom walked in and I’m like “THAT’S TIFFANI AMBER THIESSEN!”

And my wife was on the other side of the room and she was like

Tour de France: Unchained?

Looks like I'm a few years behind (and it was recently added to Netflix) but I just started Your Honor with Brian Cranston.

Great cast and I'm a sucker for crime dramas
