  • Here it is, in short. I would need to cross check some things to make sure it is all correct, but this is the story in brief: Some time in March, 1944, the 45th was moving into Germany in near co

One of the worst movies evar.

You just hate all movies that center around inter-racial romance

Just watched Sandler's special with the wife and we both really enjoyed it. The last 10 minutes were really good. We both saw him at Wake around '98 or so, he still looks exactly the same

You should have seen his face when he first watched Mandingo

I just watched last night. I actually turned it off with ten or 15 minutes to go. I’ll need to go back and finish.

Reallt liked it.  Lots of laugh out loud moments.  Also, he has middle aged into John Turturro.

I’m halfway through the last episode. Pretty good.

Never noticed until now how much Rob Stark looks like Rami Malek.

finished House of Cards - went out with a whimper

My wife is glued to Wentworth. I'm not into it but based on her reactions it's hooked her.

I can't even get the energy to start house of cards latest season and I loved the first couple of seasons.  It looks awful.

I couldn’t make it past the first few episodes.

Last 10 minutes were good, but the first hour was pretty hit or miss. Some was plain bad.

I know I’m late but I’m enjoying The Defenders before I watch the latest Daredevil series. I wish Jessica Jones wasn’t such a one-note character sometimes, but overall I like it. I never watched Iron Fist but I don’t feel like I missed anything.

This is my take too. I don't want to spoil what a good thing it was by watching it flounder.

That's perfectly fine, ma'am.

y'all mentioned Medal of Honor, yet? saw the ad and thought it might be a good time waster. kind of slow but could be interesting if well done.

Yep.  He found his funny again.  Room got dusty for the last 10 minutes or so.  Good stuff.

I’m going to have to go back and watch the end.  I’m a Sadler fan but I quit after a little over quarter of the way thruough and a few days later tried to keep going but that shit was horrible....   Non stop bad songs that tell terrible jokes.   I’ll give the rest a try but so I don’t see it.

I always figured you for a lesbian softball chick.

So is that a no on House of Cards? I'm on the fence (and wasn't all that pumped even when Spacey was still on board).

Outlaw king wasn't terrible. Some decent battles scenes, but there were two distracting issues

1: they completely changed edward II into a sadistic but capable fighter/leader. in reality he was a weak ruler who allowed his wife to overthrow and kill him (by sticking a hot poker up his ass). braveheart was actually more accurate in the portrayal of him.

2:

Spoiler

completely idiotic ending with Robert allowing edward II to just walk off the final battlefield. why in the world wouldn't you take him prisoner and use him to win scotland's freedom and get your family back? weird plothole. just seemed sloppy.

There is zero evidence he was killed with a hot poker. Most analyst say he either died of natural causes or was possible strangled
ballad of buster scruggs is out.  anyone seen it yet?

Also they had a sweet trebuchet and we only got to see it fire off one shot.

Yeah, I know. But people still continue the rumor when you visit Berkeley Castle, and if nothing else it's memorable. Was still a pretty shitty king.

Yeah that would be cool to visit. I’ve been all over Europe but never to the British Isles. I love English and French history and it’s on my list

I also thought point two was dumb. I really liked the movie, but that part was nonsensical.

Yes it is. Room kept getting dusty toward the end of every episode.

Definitely not for everyone, but if you are into cooking from the past in old castles, Lords and Ladles was pretty good.

Finished Body Guard. Entertaining, but really stretches the suspension of disbelief limits and exceeds them if you know some stuff about police procedures, ballistics and wives.

I need fuckin subtitles to understand what the fuck robb Stark is sayin. But I’m in.

It's not bad, reminds.me of the guy from Americas test kitchen, when he started milk street, he and his team did a 12 course meal the old Victorian way.

I saw Get Shorty the TV show is on there. I've seen the 2 seasons and thought it was great.
