Of all the cop's decisions, this was actually the one that makes the most sense, if you think about it. Give her the van so she can haul ass if she actually feels threatened. If you flip it you've got some young girl stranded in Moab whose only option is to eventually get back in the van with him.

Finally started this and thank you for the rec; we're enjoying it thus far but not through it too far yet. So many dishes that I would have loved to taste myself. It's the one show thus far that when the subtitles were going so fast that trying to read and watch got tricky at times and was glad for the back up feature. Spoiler Loved the blindfolded tasting but that younger judge ( Chef Anh I believe was his name?) must have super sensitive taste buds. I understand that this is his vocation, but his ability to taste so specifically was amazing to me from a home cook's perspective. His comment on the flowers that someone put on their plate and then during the blindfolded judging, one of the master chefs had some flowers on the plate and I was "Noooooooo! He might be able to smell them! You're going to be out for sure!" I see there is to be another season released in the latter half of this year.
March 6Mar 6 Enjoying Just One Look. I don't understand why but Harlan Coben's series all draw me into their weird web of strangeness. Edited March 6Mar 6 by Dylan383
March 7Mar 7 I'm curious. Is The Raid Redemption the movie you're calling The Raid? Gareth Evans directs Raid Redemption, I see. Havoc looks like fun. On 3/6/2025 at 8:30 AM, Js1 said: The Recruit is cancelled Idiots.

March 10Mar 10 Finished Culinary Class Wars, binged the last 3 episodes this weekend. That was a great watch. Also watched The Misfits (Pierce Brosnan, Nick Cannon, et al). It was a Mistake. So many better heist movies than this one and unfortunately we took a gamble w/o reading reviews.
March 10Mar 10 Watched the Ruby Frankke doc. I hope that cunt is getting the child abuser treatment she deserves in women's prison. My son used to watch some of those family vlogging channels on YouTube but we put a quick stop to it. Fucking shitheads exploiting their kids nonstop for clicks.

March 11Mar 11 can someone please watch running point so we can discuss its terribleness together? pretty sure my wife got the flu on purpose in order to binge this.

My girlfriend likes it so we’ve been watching. I don’t really pay attention but I can tell the gist is woman with no experience but “knows everything about basketball” falls in to a job she’s not qualified for, makes zero mistakes, is perfect, and experiences no character growth. Oh yes and all straight men are stupid/evil. It’s horrendously unfunny garbage.

Not a big middle ground i don't like mindy's writing, i love it. her shows have been hit or miss for me though. i love mindy project and have done multiple rewatches. obviously her office episodes are mostly classics. champions was god awful. enjoyed late night and sex lives. didn't watch never have i ever but heard good things. this show just seems beneath her. a lot of lazy, tropey bits, unfinished storylines, inconsistent character arcs and plots. it's like 10 people each wrote 1 script at the same time and turned them in without checking with each other. also most of the characters are terrible people but all in pretty much the same way - i get it, they're siblings, that can happen - but probably shouldn't in a tv show. also it somehow made me dislike drew tarver, which i didn't think was possible. and this is without getting into the impossible challenges of writing a show involving professional sports. i won't judge her for those mistakes, as everyone makes them. just let me know when you're done. 48 minutes ago, Helobious said: My girlfriend likes it so we’ve been watching. Apparently it’s just a normal thing for married bosses to have one on one dinners with opposite sex employees at romantic restaurants. And then be shocked when people get the wrong idea. Of course her beta doormat cuck fiancée had zero problem at all with any of it. Also loled at hanks even being cast. It’s definitely a bookworm producer thinking “oooh muscles = athlete” without realizing that Chet does not have a basketball player physique at all. It’s such a stupid show.

March 13Mar 13 It’s basically a Ted Lasso clone. All clones are subject to degradation, but it’s fine if you don’t take it as seriously as an American football coach moving to England to coach UK soccer

March 13Mar 13 My wife picked this show to watch last night. I am not a Mindy Kaling fan but I am a Justin however you spell his last name fan. The tatted up short stocky white guy being a lynchpin point guard is fucking hilarious. His character is amusing too. "I saw your titties on the internet". Not knowing what refute means, etc. Show is better than I would have guessed and at 30 minutes a pop, easy to deal with one or two in a row.

March 14Mar 14 Highly recommend Adolescence. Just 4 episodes but packs a punch and Stephen Graham stole the show as he usually does.

If you’re looking for an interesting cooking competition check out My Kitchen Rules on Prime. 15 long seasons from Australia, 3 for New Zealand, 4 for UK. Surprised this never got done in the states. Cooking duos start with dinner parties at home, then moves to studio kitchens and various outside challenges. We have been hooked on it.
March 15Mar 15 Running Point not bad. I expected it to be ass. But I was amused. Easy quick binge. will be looking out for season 2
