The only complaint I have about this outstanding show.  There should be a 12 step program for this addiction-how much is enough, just a little more.  I find myself jonesing immediately after the sixth episode ends each season, which is what I guess the producers are going for.

I was home with the flu for most of last week so I caught up on the entire succession show, then turned to peaky blinders. I was damn near devastated when I remembered there are only 6 episodes per season. Also, this one seems to have left a lot more hanging in the balance than the usual wrapped up storyline. I haz sad.

  • Here it is, in short. I would need to cross check some things to make sure it is all correct, but this is the story in brief: Some time in March, 1944, the 45th was moving into Germany in near co

Started watching Living Undocumented. Really good so far, puts faces and lives to “illegal aliens”

Did they even wrap anything up at all?

I guess you are right. Cliff hangers everywhere.

YEAR IN SPACE

About Scott Kelly's 340 days at the ISS.  12 quick (14-15 min) episodes.  Thought it was good and interesting regarding the psychological aspect.

The Squid and the Whale - As a child of divorce and a divorced father this is a brilliant movie.

Hey bitches, Bojack is back!

I just started Peaky Blinders last week. Not sure why I've put it off for so long.

I’m up way past my bedtime because I just watched two powerful documentaries on Netflix.

The first, “Ghosts Of Sugarland” is a short feature (21 minutes). It’s about a group of Muslim men who grew up together and how the actions of one of them have affected all of them.

The second - and I’m going to be as vague as possible because woo boy, the reveal of the truth is maybe one of the most bizarre, sad, and disturbing stories I’ve ever seen - is about a set of identical twin brothers. At 18 one of them has an accident that results in total amnesia. The only person he knows is his twin and the only thing he remembers is having a twin brother. The documentary then tells their story.

Seriously, I’m having trouble getting to sleep. I don’t think I’ve been this troubled by a documentary since “Dear Zachary”.

Watch the first because it’s an interesting story - and because of the Texas connection for most of y’all.

Watch the second because it’s an amazing piece of work and a truly unreal story. And watch it soon because I have a feeling it’s going to be a hot topic of conversation and you seriously don’t want to be spoiled and find out the details before you watch.

Whats the title of the second one.

Oh shit lol, that’s kind of important!

“Tell Me Who I Am”

Sorry about that!

Thank you very much.

Came back to Schitts Creek after not caring much for the first couple episodes. I'm really glad I did.  It's fantastic.  Working my way through S3 now.

Levy and Ohara are comedic greatness

The younger Levy and Annie Murphy hold their own and then some.

It's got heart which is something all the shows I really love have

after resisting for a few years, we started it last year.  the first handful of episodes i wasn't loving it - especially the acting and characters of the children.  then the switch flipped, and they became the best part of the show.

also, from people i know who are familiar with their production - apparently it's a well-oiled machine.  s6 is done, s7 is gearing up.  this isn't one of those wait 15 months for the next season thing.  canadians don't fuck around.

Do they count different in Canada? I thought s6 was the final one.

is it?  maybe he told me a while back that they finished s5 and were gearing up for s6 right away.  i haven't really kept up with it.

the production guy basically said after shooting with that team, he doesn't want to come back to how other u.s. productions go.  no nonsense and efficient.

Daybreak was A campy and fun post-apocalypse comedy.

David Chang's Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner is an excellent foodie/travel show. Has a Bourdain vibe to it without being copycat.

No hurry Ozark. Whenever you’re ready.

we discuss it in the "when is my show coming back" thread.

likely mid-2020, so don't hold your breath.

Just started on S2 of kominsky method tonight.

It’s as great as the first. Jane Seymour still sexy, Douglas is his usual charming self, and Alan Arkin kills me as always.

"Apostle" from Gareth Williams, director of the Raid movies, Ravenous. Great pacing, great gore, and great concept. Cast is a bit pedestrian but they get the job done well.

I tried to watch the first episode of Katee Sackhoff’s new show, Another Life.  A wise man once said, “I’d rather drink buffalo shiz.”

better gobble up that buffalo shiz!

The sci-fi drama is set to resume production next year.

Netflix will be returning to outer space for a second season of Another Life.

The streamer has renewed the sci-fi drama starring Katee Sackhoff for 10 more episodes. Production is set to resume in 2020 in Vancouver; a premiere date hasn't been set.

The Laundromat was good.  Very watchable, nice pace, good actors and an interesting story.  Gary Oldman and Antonio Banderas are great in it.

That is absurd.

It's clearly cheap.  Which is why they get a season 2 and something like Santa Clarita Diet is done.

Being filmed in Vancouver is a sign it’s cheap.  They probably pay the cast in Best Buy coupons.

I'm sure Katee and Selma demand real money.  Everyone else is probably happy with BB coupons, food and lodging.

*Hot Take Alert* Godless is Netflix’s best original series.

If you can’t get there, it’s  at a minimum the most underrated.

@ me.

“The King” dropped today.

About halfway through and it’s pretty good but I’m not blown away or anything.

Timothee Chalamet is pretty good.

Season 3 of Big Mouth is some of the funniest shit I have ever seen. The Florida episode is fucking classic.

Jason Mantzoukas is a national treasure. I'm not even convinced Rafi is a character. It's just Jason.

I tried, just think it's okay, Jeff Daniel's did nothing to break the mold of dumb and dumber. I mean, actors know for comedic roles and do a serious part can blow your hair back, not in this case. I couldn't buy in.

Strange, I thought he was really good in it.

I watched The King and thought it was excellent. They didn't play too much with the little bit of history that I know. I'll give it a thumbs up.
