  • Here it is, in short. I would need to cross check some things to make sure it is all correct, but this is the story in brief: Some time in March, 1944, the 45th was moving into Germany in near co

Pretty good through a few eps.

I thought it was Axl Rose.

Oh shit lol, that’s kind of important!

“Tell Me Who I Am”

Sorry about that!

Just watched it. Kinda wish I hadn’t.

Just watched as well. The ripple effects of childhood abuse never cease to amaze and devastate. Glad that the full story could be told eventually but clearly that’s two lives profoundly altered by a truly fucked up childhood.

While it was horrible, I would recommend for anyone to watch this to avail themselves of what can happen when evil runs roughshod over the innocent. Kudos to both of them for finding some form of closure.

Had no idea Sam’s gf on atypical is from Bedford... and is a total damn smokeshow on google image search.

The King felt like either a pilot for a series or a movie made entirely as an excuse to show the battle of Agincourt. Not sure which. The fighting was well done and probably closer to what medieval fighting was probably like than most movies show.

Wife and I finished The Ranch.  So many stupid, forced lines... but we love the show.  It's a guilty pleasure with raunchy language.

Is that really how they are going to end it or is there a part 8 that’s filmed that’s coming?

Second half of the final season drops in the summer I think it is

Jason Mantzoukas is a national treasure. I'm not even convinced Rafi is a character. It's just Jason.

Dolemite was damn good. Eddie Murphy should get an Oscar nod

Rythm and Flow anyone?

I thought it was very well done and enjoyed it a lot.

Basically it’s an uncensored music competition for Hip Hop.

Judges TI , Cardi B and Chance the Rapper

Cardi B? Hard pass.

Echo in the Canyon should be subtitled: “Hi, I’m Jakob Dylan, Drive Around With Me!”

Scottish toast that I'll try to remember

Here’s to a long life, and a merry one;

a quick death, and an easy one;

a pretty girl, and an honest one;

a stiff whiskey, and another one.”

New docuseries, “The Devil Next Door”, about John Demjanjuk - begins in 1986 when a retired autoworker from Cleveland is accused of being Ivan the Terrible, a particularly heinous guard from the concentration camp Treblinka.

Five hour long episodes, very interesting and twisty. Definitely recommend.

I got kind of bored with the first episode of devil next door.

Atypical season 3 is on. I liked the first 2.

Just started season 2.  I'm getting into it.

It hits pretty close to home having a child on the spectrum and what it can do to relationships, etc.

same.  ended up just searching him up on wiki.

I've been watching "Glitch."  It's an Australian horror/drama about 6 people who arise from the dead.  Not the best thing I've ever seen, but not a bad way to spend some time and keeping my interest.

Breath is an interesting movie but you can figure out what's going to happen, just not how, probably a third of the way into the movie.  Reminds me a little of Z-Boys.

Just started on S2 of kominsky method tonight.

It’s as great as the first. Jane Seymour still sexy, Douglas is his usual charming self, and Alan Arkin kills me as always.

Watched the first two eps of season 2 (loved season 1).  Arkin is genius.  Paul Reiser sure has aged.  Really like this show.

Just finished Season 3 of La Casa De Papel and the wife and I loved it. Thinking of starting Peaky Blinders next, how is it?

Peaky Blinders kicks all kinds of ass.

Peaky Blinders is incredible,  almost finished with season 2

“Frontera Verde”

Jungle, magic, nazis, it has it all. But you have to watch it in Spanish. Dubbing or subtitles would kill the mood of this show.

Season 3 'The Crown'

I really enjoyed the first two seasons

Third season is excellent.

I'm liking it so far, 4 episodes in

Bad Day for the Cut -- a 2017 film set in Ireland.  Adult homebody son who still lives on the farm with his mom goes and gets revenge when someone murders mom.  It held my interest in part because it didn't have the protagonist go all Rambo and turn into some Special Forces badass, but I couldn't get over the fact that Susan Lynch (who played the dish in Waking Ned Devine) played the bad guy . . . er, girl.  The movie also needed subtitles so I could understand what the fuck everyone was saying in their Irish accents.  I'd give it a 6 or 7 on a 1-10 scale.

Next time turn on the captioning. I'm not deaf (daughter is though), and I've gotten to the point where I have them on all the time. It's amazing how much you miss without them - even in a typical American accent.

Yeah, I run with captions on all the time. Half the time you can't tell what folks are saying because the background noise is so high or they are just straight up mumbling. Sometimes I wonder if directors just expect you to have them on..

Has Greatesr Events of WWII in Colour been mentioned?

The Midway episode is amazing. All the things I've read/watched/heard/knew about WWII and somehow I never learned much about this battle.

I watched that one first. They’re all great, and I learned quite a bit from each, as most of what I knew was from a very American patriotic perspective.

“Blue Ruin” is one of the best goddamn revenge movies ever made. Fight me.

Klaus is a good little twist on the Santa story. Great animation and voice acting and a good story. Good one to watch with the family.

Just finished both seasons.  I thought it was really good.

Just watched Tell Me Who I Am............ Jesus Christ.

It’s definitely a must watch, but once and only once similar to 12 Years a Slave or something.

It boggles my mind that there are human beings that horrific walking the earth. Just wow.

Good recommendation, thanks.

I think Man on Fire is top of my list for revenge movies.
