If anyone had any inkling that I might not like it...

Yeah right, of course I did.

So I couldn't get over one thing in the movie. It's completely inconsequential but I'm spoilering anyway

so because I'm a crazy person I was distracted by the fact that John Wick just had to smell TERRIBLE. He's been running around New York in a rain storm fighting for his life so he's a mixture of blood and sweat and just the general stench of New York. Then he gets on a boat and goes to Casablanca wearing the same suit (because it's bulletproof) and then he wanders the desert for a day. I'm just saying, he couldn't have been pleasant to be around.

Agreed! They also didn't show him take a piss or shit the entire movie, wtf?!

That was a very fun movie. Kinda appreciated they didn’t make it too gory without losing the action.

Once scene I thought was well done

the underwater shooting/headshots with the blood and all. Don't recall seeing anything that detailed in a movie before.

Saving Private Ryan beach scene was similar.  I really hated that part.

Saw it loved it, my wife lives Keanu and finally relented and watch JW 1 & 2 this last month so she bought us tix for 3.

I always find myself chuckling at the 3-gun feel to the gun play, it’s fun to watch.

I do love that the movies keep finding new martial arts tactics, weapons to incorporate and the likes. It’s basically “game of death” with guns, which the glass room fights completely felt like, expected Iron chef to do the “Kung Fu” Mr.X HaHaHaHaHo laugh.

Also if the last tac squad had better armor, I might pass on the glock and mpx both being 9mm.

Ready to see it again

Walked out laughing. What drinking games have been created out of this movie?

Clint Eastwood in Where Eagles Dare eat your heart out. I'm pissed is the new Make My Day

Just saw it. Holy shit, this is the greatest action movie of all time. They had me at Boban. When I saw Boban I knew that this movie will never be topped.

Not on DVD until Sept 10. I have no patience.

Watched it 3 times since I downloaded it Friday. 3rd time skipped to action scenes...which is pretty much the entire fukn movie! Gah damn I forgot how rowdy this is...start to finish.

If I had to rank would be: 3, 1, 2

And that’s tough call bc 1 is classic for setting it all up and has my mustang. But 3 is just consistently bad ass...the dogs and knife fight store. Pow Pow!

Movie was great fun. I especially enjoyed the sound production - the weapons sounded fantastic, and Vivaldi's Four Seasons was such a comical piece to use for the library assault.

Welp, just watched this garbage on hbo and has to be the absolute stupidest shit that a single human being ever put an ounce of effort in to. I fucking nearly died laughing my ass off.

Said nobody ever

This was easily my least favorite of the series, but it had it's moments.

I’m particularly fond of the scene where he is putting the loaded magazines on his belt. Now, anyone who has ever carried just the standard two on their belt is familiar with the weight of 30 rounds of pistol cartridges. And how they restrict ones ability to you know, move. Now imagine 10...and then do some Kung Fu/ hand to hand. Fucking movie just threw physics out the window. It is more video game than movie.

Only made it half way through. I liked the first two, but the thrill is gone.

I feel you are missing the utter genius of when John outright decapitated a guy in the middle of a jam packed grand central station and no one in the world noticed.

gun porn on cool sets with dramatic lighting and exceedingly cheesy lines delivered like parody. The first one was the same but at least it almost kind of had a story that constituted a shell of a plot that made it watchable.  The action in this one was even comedic in its awful execution...with a low point of John being kicked through like 10 straight glass cases on his way down the hall by the kung fu ninjas

PLEDGE YOURSELF TO THE HIGH TABLE!

The horse slap/kick in the head slayed me. I do not know why but I laughed so hard I could not breathe.

The fight scene with the german shepherds was incredible.  I read that they trained the dogs for months in order to have them do all of their own stunts.
