February 18, 20241 yr Gotta be honest, this tennis match is a little more interesting than I would have expected.

So I am stuck watching tennis until someone wins. Click WatchESPN instead of ESPN+. Doing it that way on iPad now.
February 18, 20241 yr Not saying he can’t be an effective pitcher throwing 89, but I’m a little concerned that Witt can’t hit 90 and doesn’t have much control. Always hear stories of guys coming back from TJ throwing harder and our course our guy is the one that loses 8 mph and his command.
February 18, 20241 yr Hypothetically of course, how would one go about getting an orthopedic surgeon’s medical license revoked?

February 18, 20241 yr Hate it for that kid. Turned down 7 figures to return to Texas and bet on himself and that looked the exact same as last year.
February 18, 20241 yr This is so tragic. A legacy who has passed up millions multiple times to star in orange and has it all taken away from him. Possibly the most talented arm on campus since Jungmann. Just an absolute tragedy.
February 18, 20241 yr He has to have no confidence at this point. Which sucks, because he was so good. He needs a move to the BP at this point; maybe that change would help him. Edited February 18, 20241 yr by MuellerHorn
February 18, 20241 yr Every year it seems like Pierce starts the season with 1.5 SPs. I don't get it.
February 18, 20241 yr 3 games into the new season and we've been behind the 8 ball in all 3. I sure hope this trend doesn't continue.

What in wide world of sports is going on. Same stuff as always. There’s literally no excuse to have holes in the roster these days, especially at Texas. SP, 2B, and C, for example. I really like Pierce, overall, but he has some real negative trends with roster management and some WTF in-game, situational decisions. Edited February 18, 20241 yr by MuellerHorn

February 18, 20241 yr Get out of the inning 4-0 and we can still win. Good for the offense to have a little urgency anyways.

Yup it’s a real problem. I don’t doubt that DP will coach these guys up and we will be a good team with a chance at Omaha again. Just seems to be what he does. But if we want to win the thing we need some complete rosters at some point.

February 18, 20241 yr Yeah we’re winning. Nice work. The Witt experiment sucked, but it only cost us 2 runs and now we know where we stand on Sundays
February 18, 20241 yr I can't think of any reason the guy on 3rd didn't take a shot to come home, more than likely would have come in standing up.

February 18, 20241 yr LHN was stuck on tennis for a bit. Y'all mind giving a little update on Witt? Was he pulled because of command or did he injure his arm again?

Subpar velocity and shaky command. All three outs in the first were on balls put into play. Pierce pulled him before it got really bad.
