There we go, put it in play and see what happens

More 1st pitch strikes right down the middle we watch go by. Nice to finally get the breaks they've been getting all weekend

Looking around the league. Nobody has particularly impressed. FGCU has had TCU in hell all weekend, shelling Tolle on Friday. OSU drops the series to Sam. KU loses the series to UIC. OU and Tech look mixed against a meh field in Arlington. WV splits with Stetson

Tolle had a ERA north of 5.00 in the AAC last year. I never understood the hype for him as a #1 Friday guy.

Damn that was a beautiful bunt.

Playing some damn good baseball this inning.  Love it.

O'Dowd gets off the schneid

O'Dowd finally gets into the hit column with a bunt single.

Bartolo jr for San Diego

Somebody get the pitcher a bag of cheese burgers and large fries.

Well that's embarrassing

This. Everyone should be able to drop bunts like that by the time they finish high school. Not enough attention to that anymore it seems.

I have no evidence to back this up but Belyeu watches more 3-2 pitches than any batter in program history

While clapping jogging down to first

Gasparino is going to make solid contact this inning.

Keith continues to struggle with arithmetic.  6-3 = 3, Keith.

Witt needs to learn how to pitch like Grubbs.  Lots of low sinking junk.

I don’t think Witt’s ready.  It’s hard enuf getting loose early in the season without the arctic temps.  I hope Pierce was rewarding him for the hard work he’s put in just to get back on the mound.  Now, let’s be smart with Witt .. there’s plenty of time for him to really be ready.

This didn't age well

That was a horrible two-strike pitch. Thanks, OU dork.

PP's average dropping like a rock, from .455 to .417.
