Holy shit. Bregman and Springer back to back in the 10th.

Awesomeness.

I can’t believe I turned it off after the top of the ninth. FML.

And against aggy to boot!

I like it but expected Segura.

All Star MVP is all about being at right place at the right time. Sucks for Segura and Springer.

That was one crazy game. Seriously, flip a coin on MVP. Curious to see if this game gets Springer out of his recent funk.

I still can’t get over what a perfect microcosm that game was of the state of baseball today, for better or worse.
25 of 60 outs via K.
10 HRs.
9 BBs.
All but 1 run driven in via the long ball

Looked just like games 2 and 5 of the WS with late inning runs and HRs coming at you in waves.

So...
Altuve reigning AL MVP
Springer reigning WS MVP
Bregman reigning ASG MVP

Pretty pretty pretty good

as unlikely as it is, it's possible this type of thing has happened before, by a player from the same team.  to have 3 different players do it, that's gotta be a first.

if you polled the players before the game and asked them who the best reliever was, i'm sure that hader and diaz would have gotten a ton of votes. that they were the two guys who surrendered all those runs was pretty surprising.

Let's go get that home field advantage. No? Okay let's go beat the Dodgers staff again.

Ha.

But also, Big Game Bregs might be the clutchiest Killer B of all.

Well yeah because there were like 5 brewers and 4 mariners on the team.

Not saying Kimbrel over them would just be plain idiocracy.

ok, how about Happ over Kimbrell, what was that about?

Kimbrel was on the shelf.  "Overworked"   He pitched the 11th, 12th, 14th, 15th.
