The growth Flores has made defensively is night and day compared to last year.

Was just thinking about his once a game toss into the dugout from 3rd last year. I'm still not sold on his range at short, but he's obviously maturing nicely

You have to make an effort to move out of the way. This technically should be overturned.

You absolutely do not.  You cannot purposely move into it.

Wait, what?  No.  You can't move INTO it, right?

Nice, Kennedy stung that one.  How many more of these brothers are in the pipeline?

O'Dowd is scorching the ball.

How many more covid years does he have?

There’s nothing about “tie goes to the runner”, either, Mr Moreland.

It’s inferred, because the throw has to beat the runner.

My limited sample size overreaction is I don’t think Flores is a 3 or 4 hole hitter.

Kennedy could be 2 hole soon. That last hit was his best, but he's getting the bat on the ball and letting his 6.3 speed kill. 1 off the team lead in walks with about half the PAs of JT.

Then drop back Powell and Brown

At my first game in a while.  It is hilarious that Jared Thomas’ walk up music is Snake Farm.   Well done.

This is turning out to be a pretty solid infield … 🤞

FRI/SAT pitching ain't looking too bad, either.

Brown is getting screwed with this zone

First pitch was definitely a ball outside.

He's gotta learn to lay off the high cheese, though.

O'Dowd completely and utterly dominated by a Cal Poly freshman.

He's a spare.  He should not be playing except for late innings defense.

Fontenot on.  I would have let Hurley go one more with 8-9-1 due up

Hard to imagine a scenario where he'd be a defensive upgrade
