It appears you may have jizzed in your pants during the drive home and the phone was in your pocket.  Not that I would blame you.

I'm not a truck nut per se.  I'm certainly not a gear head.  And, I'm not at all impulsive.  But, I saw this truck on the side of the road two weeks ago, test drove it the next day, took it to my budd

One year without a truck was too long.  I’m back. And figured, fuck it. I can’t take it with me so might as well enjoy it.

I have a Chemical Guys one from Walmart and it’s good too, but one from the Rag Company will be pretty much the best you can get.

Whatever they use at Francis and Sons car wash.

I drive Mopac to dry the truck after a  wash.  That makes it look prettier than any truck really needs to be.

As long as you don't get your window smashed in by some Subaru driver, I guess that's acceptable.

Buddy dealing with the chevy/GMC blues.  His first 2500 Denali was stolen out of a parking lot in a matter of minutes.  Their scanner impersonated the key fob, opened and gone.  Under two minutes per the security film.

Insurance money parlayed into an Expedition, but he needs a truck to pull their 5th wheel

Now he has another 2500HD.  In the last week the auto-start/stop has crapped the bed three times.  He's been stranded both at work and at home because the stupid thing won't fire up.  I don't know what the hell GM is doing these days, but jesus they're having a bad few years.

Added these running boards from amazon to the ZR2  today. Let's see how they hold up.

How they hold up? What are you planning on putting them through?

Just installed them today. Not sure of the quality of parts from amazon.

In my experience, automotive parts from Amazon are shit.  After that, good luck. I just don't risk customer cars anymore with thier parts when there are better options with warranties available.

Put an Amazon front bumper on my Jeep 4 years ago and it's holding up great.  I'm not abusing it, but it's also not just a mall crawler.  I take it out to Hidden Falls a couple times per year and I drive it through brush country on my BIL's property near Fredericksburg a few times per year as well.
