It's hard to pick one scene out of a classic movie, by definition the scenes all work together.  Mine for Rocky is actually; He doesn't know it's a show [pant pant] he thinks it's a fight!

Likewise it was hard to pick one for Mr Williams, his fro steals every scene.

That whole fight scene in the first Rocky gets me pumped every time.

Now yous can't leave...

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck. This is easily one of the best

Just coming to post this one as well.  Such a great scene.

First movie I saw in a theater post-Covid, and it was such an awesome experience. I love the sound in these movies, it makes it feel so much more realistic.

Can't forget the OG though:

Some great ones from Goodfellas but Henry Hill pistolwhipping a guy in a quiet Jewish neighborhood on a perfect day, then giving the gun to Karen is freaking amazing.

And another Scorsese, not the best movie and Diaz was a terrible casting choice but Bill the Butcher flinging knives at her with all kinds of tension.

When that came out I was still in high school. I found it on Netflix or wherever had it first and watched it 3 times in 2 days.

Still one of my favorite movies. Hard to pick a scene, this might be my favorite though.

Had to find the right vid

Goodfellas is my favorite movie and I think you can say it’s one stream of endlessly perfect scenes.  Can’t believe I didn’t already post “dinner in prison.”

I have a post on the food board where I recreate this sauce. Don’t put too many onions in the sauce.

You gotta slice the garlic so thin you can see through it.

Classic movie with John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, Lee Marvin has all classic scenes.  AND, great supporting characters.

(can't find the full scene where Wayne bursts in on school)

forgotten newspaper man actor stole every scene.

I'm not going to say this is a great scene, or even a great movie (hell, I've not watched the movie yet, but I intend to now).  But jeeeeezus:

Old movies gave no heed to the safety of stunt men and animals.  Very refreshing.

The end credits of the Great Outdoors is good. Dan Aykroyd is having the time of his life.

Flipping through channels and found this just in time, certainly not the greatest but a favorite of mine...
