Let's put this away early.

That just means he'll come out throwing darts against us and our bats will be cold.  😀

Probably so haha.

However, it'd be really nice to get an early lead (like 8-1) and let both Harrison and Witt throw with absolutely no pressure.

From the Buffalo burbs. Signed with Alabama last year, but never found his way to the mound.

Was he sad when he got poisoned at his own wedding in "Game of Thrones" or?

Interesting O’Dowd is getting the start against a Lefty

Maybe the thought process is we need to know if we can count on this guy at all before we head into conference play.

Borba becoming a reliable bat sure would be a nice surprise headed into March.

Yeah we already know that answer but I get Pierce trying to give a Senior as many opportunities as possible

Personally I’d like to see Kennedy bat 2nd to get more speed at the top and break up the lefties.

We must be pretty thin at 1st.

Fucking O’Dowd got a start over there. So yeah. Pretty damn thin

O'Dowd in the 8 hole.   If he's gotta play,  that's a good spot for him.

I'd prefer Scavelli's first name to be Sal or Giovanni.

Well good start to this one....  poor defense and a  4 pitch walk

And now a HBP.   Bases loaded no outs...

First at bat was an out, no?

Dammit I missed that...  You are correct.

Give up an early run, put some pressure on our hitters, and see how they respond.

I see you, Grubbs.

Not a lot of run on this nerd's fastball.  Pretty flat/straight.  We should tee off on him.

We're making good contact, just hitting it right at 'em.  Sticking with the above.  This will be a fun game to watch.

I don't like Antico's chances of becoming a color commentator,  but then there's Nathan Thornhill.

The baseball gods know when you are trying to sneak something by them. Ball will find you.

"He may have been shielded by the umpire and Grubbs...and also he's just not very good."

Almost got 'em for a DP.

Grubbs gets outta a jam.

Grubbs gets out of trouble, partly because of his own defense.
