JOD is becoming painful to watch on D.

Becoming?

Not a lot of run on this nerd's fastball.  Pretty flat/straight.  We should tee off on him.

And if we don’t, time to bring back T-Nic

Every time they say "Mike Hampton," I picture a certain LHP.

We aren’t very good at getting hit by pitches but I’m pretty confident that should stand.

He is just lost up there mechanically, not even getting his foot down in time to hit the ball

You don't just waltz up to the plate and expect to make contact against Evan Chafee.... unless you're Will Gasparino.

Thankfully though we have a nice crop of Freshman, and Gasparino bails out O’Dowd

You seen him hit lately??

O'Dowd is coming off it, trying to play hero ball.

Gasparino's swing looked nice and compact there.  Inside out, drove it opposite field.  He keeps that up, he's gonna be dangerous.

Left fielders and center fielders from the other team are going to hate the Yeti Yard. Just wondering what it will take to get thrown out - with BYOB and 0U or aggy in town, this place is going to be a zoo, and totally awesome!🤘🏻

So, um, starting pitching. Still an adventure.

Probably so haha.

However, it'd be really nice to get an early lead (like 8-1) and let both Harrison and Witt throw with absolutely no pressure.

Is this the “absolutely no pressure” you had in mind?

Yeah… I may need to let go of my hope on these two pitchers.

Harrison comes running in from the bullpen, talking shit to himself like he's got Tourette's, gets teed off on his first pitch, then throws one over the catcher's head.

Maybe he needs to chill the F out a little bit.

Interesting mocking sign by St John player on base.

Harrison has everything except velocity on his fastball, much closer to being an asset to this team than Witt is

And I don’t think he was touching over 90 much pre injury. Was always more of a finesse guy.

Pitching staff from SJU is closer to being an asset than Witt at this time.

Our saving grace in this game is the SJ pitcher throwing straight darts and we're hitting him hard, just right at people.

He has no movement at all on his fastball and we're going to score some runs unless SJ's coach gets smart and pulls him first.

We just need to hold SJ to about 5 or 6 and I think we'll be okay.

Porter is even more frustrating than O’Dowd because he’s working counts and just missing pitches

Borba with the reverse comeback from the 3-0 count.

Downtown Porter Brown has morphed into Shutdown Porter Brown.

Looks safe. Unfortunately.

maybe not, lol!

Safe, but can't overturn it based on that.
