What in the absolute fuck is this.

Good to see David Alan Grier

I thought that was the term aggy used for certain guys on their football team, but only when they're winning.

One of those original ideas y'all are always demanding.

No, the term you're looking for is "crafty (racial slur redacted)"

Feels like an extended bottle episode from the last season of Atlanta. I'll catch it on streaming.

I'll be playing myself in this. Please keep an eye out. Scene is brief but impactful.

The term was popularized in 2001 by film director Spike Lee during a lecture tour of college campuses, in which he expressed his dismay that Hollywood continued to employ this premise.

I wanted to joke that this is Spike Lee's Birth of a Nation. Guess that was a little too on the head.

Based on the title, I was hoping for a Trey Parker or Mike Judge brand of satirical skewering of the Magical Negro trope featuring all of the best known characters in that genre.

If anyone doesn't know why this is racist, imagine we had a movie called "The American Society of Magical White People" And all of the jokes were made about black people, including a joke that calls them "dangerous animals". And then white people gaslit black people by saying "oh it's just not for everyone." I am a gambler from Belgium, And if you are also a Belgian like me then you know that we are people who always need, bonus offers, engaging games, and top-notch security measures. Due to the large number of Casino sites here, It gets so confusing to choose. After some research, I found this https://casinosanalyzer.com/online-casinos/belgium-bel website, which provides the Top Online Belgian Casino list. Now I am using one of their recommendations. If you don't want to go through tons of casino sites to find the best, this service is for you. It does the hard part, presenting authentic and trustworthy reviews.

I find all the recent responses hilarious and not in a good way.

Add Latinos into it and that's literally the exact news channels you already watch.

This should have ended with the Key and Peele skit.

This is similar to "A Night at the Roxbury" in that there is no need to turn a skit into a full length movie.

Then there never would have been a Blues Brothers movie.

We saw this trailer in the Kung Fu Panda 4 movie (for some reason?) and my youngest gasped “Daddy they said the N-word!!”

Watched it tonight.  It's not horrible, but not very interesting or novel either.

The best part of the movie is the lead actress.  Not only is she good, but she's easy on the eyes.

I would wager a large sum of money that it's a terrible and potentially offensive film that no one ever needs to see.

I will defend to the death whoever made it's right to make a film like this - but I'm not going to watch it and I hope that any intelligent human being possessing even a shred of integrity or artistic taste would opt for something better.

The reviews are pretty good, though.

Meh, it wasn't great for sure, but I'd wager the only people getting their underwear in a bunch about it are snowflake white people who can't take a joke.

I lose track of which side has the agency to claim SNOWFLAKE to the other.

Can I get a diagram or chart or something?

I think the anti-woke side uses it with sincerity. The "woke" side uses it ironically when the anti-woke side is "triggered" by something that shouldn't be that big a deal.

It's pretty easy, really.  The side with the agency, is the side not being a snowflake.

Anyone can be a snowflake, but in this case the only people who could possibly be offended are white people who don't like uncomfortable truths, or REALLY uptight black people who object to the title.

My reason for not really liking the movie had nothing to do with either of those...it was pitched as a comedy but wasn't particularly funny.  It was more of a love story.

I'll watch for DAG, but doesn't look particularly funny or interesting tbh. I agree the Key and Peele sketch was probably good enough. I'll hope to be pleasantly surprised. And lol at Whitey McWhiteson getting all butthurt up in here and his movie equivalent of "but how come there no white history month??"

Best part of the movie for me was "discovering" An-Li Bogan...IMHO, she's a smoke show and a really good actress.  I think she'll go far.
